Throwing three interceptions and holding them to just three points is impressive.

3 INTS :pgdead:

Still win is a win

TAKE YO RANKING AND SMOKE THAT SHIT DUKE
You know it's funny all 3 were just brain dumb decisions by me. It's probably because I am a bit rusty. It should get better over the season.

Yeah the defense showed up. Since Soapy was harassing me about usering Gullette, I used the d-line and let Gullette run free and he still terrorized Duke.

That was before I threw any of them. Like I mentioned. I changed some of my strategies when passing and it worked really well (see the better amount of yards I put up) but I made 3 brain dead throws after making a read and then throwing before I actually checked if the guy was open. I should get better as the season goes along.

We shall see how it goes over the course of the season. I think he will step it up.

Rob Stock – Bulldog Report

In the aftermath of a huge win for the Bulldogs to start the season against #12 Duke; they were delivered some bad news. Starting running back A'marion Peterson, returning for his final season after entering the transfer portal, will be suspended for one game following a celebration gone bad.

In route to gaining 184 yards on 19 carries and 2 touchdowns, Peterson scored a 72 yard run in the beginning of the 4th quarter. In his exuberance following the long run he tossed the ball hard towards the back of the end zone. It struck a member of the press who was looking at his phone in the chest.

"I would like to apologize to the person that I hurt and to my brothers on the team and the Mississippi State community. This is not who I am as a person and not what our university is supposed to represent. Thank you for the grace you are extending to me," Peterson posted on social media after news of his suspension broke.

Stepping up in Peterson's absence will be sophomore Jimmy Jowers. Jowers is a transfer from Memphis who had 958 yards in 196 carries with 6 touchdowns.
