10 End Of Season Storylines
1. Hazzard vs Oklahoma For SEC Title
The first year in the SEC and we draw a good opponent in the SEC title game in Oklahoma. They are ranked 12th and 10-2, but just have a 87 team grade where we have a 97. It could have been much worse as the other 5 ranked SEC teams are rated in the 90s

2. Win = 1st Round Bye
If the playoffs started today, we would be the 4th seed and get a 1st round bye. Which means a win and we will get a first round bye and likely moving up the 3rd seed. They are 2 games that will affect seeding the ACC game is #1 Miami vs #3 Pitt and the Big 10 game is #2 Michigan State vs #5 Ohio State. We don't see a huge advantage in the seed just want that first round bye. We do still project to make the playoffs with a loss

3. 2 QB System for SEC Game
Uncle Jesse has announced both QBs will play after starting QB Cesario has struggled this year with 11 TDs and 8 Int. The 94 speed Junior Office will start in the flexbone with Cesario will start elsewhere. Since it's not a make or break game it will be a bit of a filling out system and whoever plays the best could start.

#4 No Major Award Winners
We aren't just not winning any big awards we aren't even in the top 12 for them. We do have the Jet Award wrapped up with Sophomore Jahlil Gossett (85) who has 4 return TDs. The biggest snub is likely senior Ramon Tejada who has 1,209 rushing yards, but has less then 200 receiving yards. His TD's are way less this year and he has just 8.

#5 Prosinski Solid Freshman Year
He hasn't put up major stats, however overall we will take the freshman year from our 6'6 and 269 pound first ever 5*. A lot of the stats or lack thereof is him leaving 2 games early and a bad year from our passing QB. He leads the team with 41 catches, 278 yards and 4 TD. He has also added 3 rushing TDs and 9 BTK. We expect a major jump this offseason since he has elite development. He has 8 drops so we will work on that along with maybe speed/power.

#6 Defense Still Legit
Despite the jump up to the SEC our defense is legit and 6th in scoring defense at 16.5. We are 4th in sacks and 6th in passing yards per game. We are the most proud of the passing yards stats. Overall we don't expect any major drop-off in talent level for next year since we don't have any superstars on this years team.

#7 Just 7 Intercpetions
While the defense is playing good it's not because we are getting turnovers with 7 on the year.

#8 6 more Commits
When we did our last recruiting update we had 8 commits and now we are at 14. This is currently the 5th highest class and we do want to finish in the top 5 for the perks. We don't know if that will happen as we don't believe in over signing here and we have just 18 seniors. This means we prob will not be very active in the portal market which we usually are. We project 6 underclassmen that's very likely to leave to go pro and only a few to the portal

#9 Remaining HS Targets

HB Tavon Sarell = 4* Contact seeker HB with 90 accel and 81 break tackle and we are his only offer
ATHL Gabriel Kasay = A 3* gem WR/Athlete that's 6'4 with 91 speed. We likely move him to DB ideally CB
WR Channing Britt = A 4* speedster WR who is 6'3 with 93 speed from South Dakota of all places. We aren't likely to catch Indiana or Oregon
WR Mailau Mix = The #1 guy on our board since we need WR's and he is a 4* gem. We are #1 in his top 5, but Clemson is around and he is from South Carolina
ATHL Jamie Lockridge = Officially a gadget WR as a 4* and it's us or UF. With 90 speed, 93 accel and 87 arm power could play QB down the line for us at 5'11 and 204
C Connor Cormier = 4* raw strength C with 87 strength, 79 run block and the 2nd level ability
C Erik Tompkins = Just a 3*, but a gem and we really want him. He has 92 strength and 78 run block and we just discovered him this past week.
DE Manny Andries = 4* Edge setter and it's a heavy weight battle in his top 5 all with offers. He is 80+ in most areas highlighted by 84 block shed
DE Finau Ha = 4* speed rusher with 86 accel and a cool name
LB Kurtis Cheesman = 3* LB with 89 speed and 90 accel
LB Stephen Beckham = 4* normal thumper LB and we have to fight off LSU and Auburn. He has the team player ability and could be a DE for us
P Joe Lee = Joe Lee, Joe Lee, Joe Lee... please don't take him just because you can
TE Devante Biggums = We swear that's the last name the higher ups gave him. He is a 3* blocker that likely ends up at FB down the line

#10 - Recent Commits
WR Rasheem Tant = We need WR badly and the 4* is a physical route runner and 6'5.
C Finau Hufanga = He was on our 5 most wanted list and is a 100% lock to be a stud. He is a 5* gem with 85 accel, 79 run blocking and 3 abilities already
DE Fred Coffee = A 4* power rusher at 257 pounds so could play rush DT as well. A lot to like here 89 strength, 80 speed, 85 pursuit but needs a year to get that block shed up
LB Taj Fowler = A big normal thumper at 6'4 and 257 pounds with 91 accel, 81 strength, 81 speed so we view him as a rush DE
LB Gideon Cobbs = The final 5* is the lurker type with 90 accel, 79 zone and gold knockout
CB Nick Duff = 6'2 4* with 91 speed should be able to redshirt

Yea Gadget WR's are one of my favorites types because you can play them at QB,WR or HB. Typically the overall will go up by about 10 when you move them to HB. I'm not sure where he will end up since I signed the 5* QB. I might just leave at WR for a year or two and redshirt him. They are typically the fastest QB's around and when you move them will become the pure runner type. I also like that the accuracy usually becomes capped

SEC TITLE GAME

A odd game for Hazzard a chance to win the SEC in year 1. However, even with a loss the playoffs still happen and the ultimate goal is still alive. Still you really want to win this one so you get a bye. This allowed some experiment to happen like giving true freshman Tim Kong the power HB carries over better players. This will secure him and his star dev come back next year. Also the biggest one a 2 QB system all vs a good not great Oklahoma team

The opening drive which looked like they were going in to score ends up a fumble recovery by our #1 CB Burns. Then the craziest play of the year it's 3rd and 26 and we go 4 verts from flexbone with our speedy QB. Thinking maybe we get lucky and he can break loose on a run. However, he has one on one coverage with our 6'6 WR Brigance in the endzone. Since he has platinum 50/50 and even if it's intercepted its like a punt. We throw it deep which is rare for us and Brigance boxes him out perfect and it's a 56-yard TD catch. Another key 3rd downplay on the next drive saw the speedy Office find a HB for the first down. It was looking like we had us a QB. Right before half we decide toward reward our 6'6 WR for his big play earlier and give him a TD on a wide-open screen pass. Our defense comes up big again with a FR for a TD by star junior pass rusher Redmon (91 ovr). We took a comfortable 21-7 lead into the locker room. They 3rd quarter not much going on just 3 points by then gained a point on us in the 4th. It's now a 10 point game and we clinch the game with a 4th down breakup by our stud S Alvarado

A ugly win just 27-17 and the coaching decisions didn't work. True Freshman Tim Kong held to just 32 yards on 12 carries. The 2 QB system resulted in a season low 314 yards. Cesario threw another interception so now we wait to see if he is named starter. They also passed the ball well 291 passing yards. It's not often a team holds us to under 4 yards per carry. We did discover a new play we like and we hit out big TE 2 times it's "RPO Read Flat Wheel' from Pistol Full Diamons. Which is a RPO where we line the TE's up in the backfield going in the same direction.

5 Game Balls
WR Brigance = 4 catches for 61 yards, 2 TD
TE Prosinski = 4 catches for 42 yards,
LB O'Connor = 9 tackles, 1 TFL,1 FF
DE Redmond = 1 tackle, 1 FR, 1 TD
CB Burns = 6 tackles, 1 FR,
