Would've been unrealistic in the opposite direction if I didn't have any four stars. SCar has the #1 CB in the country committed for 2027 for example. I did limit myself on how many, though, and they're all pipeline.

Won't say I didn't pick some players just because their dealbreaker was conference prestige

Definitely. I typically don't scout and just go off the playing time grade and he has A+ so could he be better than Sellers? :giannis:

Preview

South Carolina is set to open the Julian Sneed era with a game against Kent State, a team that no one expects to give the Gamecocks' new head coach any challenge as Sneed builds toward the September 26 meeting with Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

The Golden Flashes are coming off the back of a 5-7 season and are widely predicted to finish near the bottom of the Mid-American Conference again in 2026. They do return some key players, such as quarterback Dru DeShields, but the gap in talent may be too larger.

All eyes, then, will be on how quarterback LaNorris Sellers copes with the change in scheme and if he will be able to build some momentum going forward.
