ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS FOOTBALL
Tyler's Tuesday Tape
Two of my favorite plays from Arkansas' loss at Vandy
By Tyler Brooks
Rhodes gets to the QB
Image
Dominant bullrush from Rhodes here, overpowers the tackle and gets him on skates then finishes the rep with a good hit on the QB.
Jackson puts Arkansas on top with his legs
Image
KJ Jackson's season has been lees than fantastic through the air but he has remained the starter due to his knowledge of the offense and plays like this.

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS FOOTBALL
Razorback's Recruiting Roundup
Arkansas' goes into off week with recruiting momentum
By DeAndrew Davis
Image
WR Bryce Brower (Tulsa, OK) — Hard Commit - Arkansas officially locked down Bryce Brower after the three-star receiver turned his verbal pledge into a hard commitment. The 6'3", 175-pound Tulsa product had already made the Razorbacks his clear choice, and his recruitment is now officially closed. Brower gives Arkansas a long, athletic target on the outside and another firm piece of the class.
C Nick Redmond (Mesquite, TX) — Hard Commit - Nick Redmond has made it official with Arkansas, moving from a verbal pledge to a hard commitment. The three-star center from Mesquite gives the Razorbacks a massive interior offensive line prospect at 6'3", 299 pounds. With Redmond now completely locked in, Arkansas can turn its attention toward filling out the rest of the offensive line class.
SS Deacon Gizzi (Lufkin, TX) — Top 3 - Deacon Gizzi has trimmed his recruitment from five schools to three, and Arkansas remains firmly in the fight for the three-star safety. TCU continues to hold the lead for the Lufkin product, but the Razorbacks sit second and have survived another major cut. Arkansas will need to make up ground on the Horned Frogs down the stretch, but Gizzi remains one of the secondary's priority targets.
WILL Gerald Monroe (Memphis, TN) — Top 5 | Arkansas Leads - One of the biggest developments on the recruiting trail this week came with Gerald Monroe. The three-star linebacker has gone from an open recruitment to a top five, and Arkansas has surged all the way into the No. 1 spot after previously sitting third behind Virginia and Vanderbilt. The Razorbacks have made significant progress with the Memphis product and now find themselves in position to potentially close on one of their top remaining defensive targets.
DT Vernon Cavazos (Fort Worth, TX) — Top 5 | Arkansas Leads - Vernon Cavazos has narrowed his recruitment to five schools, with Arkansas emerging from the cut in excellent position. The Razorbacks currently sit atop the three-star defensive tackle's list, ahead of Houston, Oklahoma State, Texas and Missouri. At 6'1", 283 pounds, Cavazos would give the class another powerful interior presence, and Arkansas now has a real opportunity to turn its early lead into a commitment.
DT Randall Coutee (New Iberia, LA) — Top 3 - Randall Coutee is down to three schools, with Arkansas surviving the cut alongside LSU and Houston. The Razorbacks currently sit third in the race for the 6'2", 292-pound defensive tackle, with LSU holding the advantage and Houston running second. There is still ground to make up, but reaching the final three keeps Arkansas alive for another interior defensive line target as the recruitment enters its closing stages.
SS Andre Ogbonnaya (Helotes, TX) — Verbal Commit to Baylor | Arkansas Ends Pursuit - Arkansas received some disappointing news with Andre Ogbonnaya, who has given Baylor a verbal commitment. Rather than continue investing resources in trying to flip the three-star safety, the Razorbacks have elected to end their pursuit and redirect their attention toward other targets. With Arkansas also making progress elsewhere in the secondary, the staff will use those recruiting resources on players it believes it has a stronger opportunity to land.
