ULM OC Jaleel Mosley granted permission to interview with Texas State, Western Kentucky ahead of New Orleans Bowls
The first-year offensive coordinator has scheduled interviews with Texas State and Western Kentucky with more on the horizon.

MONROE, La. — ULM has granted offensive coordinator Jaleel Mosley permission to interview for offensive coordinator openings at Texas State and Western Kentucky as the Warhawks prepare for their New Orleans Bowl matchup against Middle Tennessee State.
Mosley, in his first season calling plays for ULM, led the Warhawks to a Sun Belt-best 35.2 points per game and 480 total yards per game in 2026 after the program finished among the nation's worst offenses the year before.
Texas State, now a member of the Pac-12, finished the regular season 9-4 with a Heisman finalist at quarterback in third-year sophomore Brad Jackson. Western Kentucky finished 8-5 in Conference USA.
Head coach Bryant Vincent said the interviews would not affect Mosley's preparation for the bowl game.
"Jaleel's earned this opportunity, and we're supportive of him exploring it," Vincent said in a statement. "Our focus right now is on Middle Tennessee State and finishing this season the right way."
Mosley is also expected to interview for offensive coordinator openings at South Florida and Charlotte later this month, though no interviews with either program have been formally scheduled.
ULM plays Middle Tennessee State in the New Orleans Bowl later this week.

Belichick retiring after that tenure with UNC is legacy shattering stuff.
Feels like OC at Texas State or Western Kentucky ain't worth the move. Rather keep it pushing with Carlisle for another year (assuming he's not hopping in that portal).
ULM -2.5 and the ML. Let's keep it moving and get that bowl going.

ULM should've gotten him a Louisiana woman to keep him there (I don't know if North Louisiana pum pum has the same trapping power as South Louisiana pum pum).
