2032 Recruiting Cycle Update
Ohio State Strikes Early as Elite Prospects Begin Coming Off the Board
The race for the nation's top recruiting class is beginning to heat up as several of the country's premier prospects move closer to final decisions.

The biggest headline belongs to Abdul Spear, the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation, who has officially committed to Ohio State.

The 5-star cornerback from Washington, Pennsylvania gives the Buckeyes a true lockdown defender and one of the most valuable recruits in the entire cycle. Spear's commitment immediately strengthens Ohio State's position in the national recruiting rankings and continues the program's recent dominance on the trail.

Ohio State wasn't finished there.

The Buckeyes also secured a commitment from DaVonte Barmore, the No. 9 overall prospect in America. The versatile 5-star athlete from Cleveland elected to stay home, giving Ohio State another elite playmaker capable of impacting multiple positions.

Texas Lands a Major In-State Win

The Longhorns picked up one of the most explosive offensive players in the country with the commitment of DeAndre Rust.

Ranked No. 8 nationally, the Cuero, Texas native chose to remain in-state and gives Texas another dangerous weapon at wide receiver.
  • 5-Star WR
  • No. 8 Overall Recruit
  • Top Texas Skill Position Prospect
Rust's commitment is expected to serve as a cornerstone for Texas' 2032 recruiting class.

Major Battles Still Ahead

While three Top 10 recruits have already announced their decisions, seven elite prospects remain available.

Top Uncommitted Recruits:
  • Gareth Schwenke (WR) — No. 2 Overall
  • Tyler Kosar (OT) — No. 3 Overall
  • Jeremy Bequette (EDGE) — No. 4 Overall
  • John Aguayo (OT) — No. 5 Overall
  • Eric Shakir (EDGE) — No. 6 Overall
  • Taylor Martinez (WILL) — No. 7 Overall
  • Jeremy Washington (EDGE) — No. 10 Overall
Perhaps the most intriguing recruitment remaining belongs to Eric Shakir, the No. 6 overall recruit in America. The elite pass rusher from California has narrowed his recruitment to just two schools, making a decision appear imminent.

Recruiting Winners So Far
  • Ohio State — Landed the No. 1 and No. 9 overall recruits
  • Texas — Secured a Top 10 playmaker at WR
Current Top 10 Commitment Tracker
  • No. 1 Abdul Spear → Ohio State
  • No. 8 DeAndre Rust → Texas
  • No. 9 DaVonte Barmore → Ohio State
With seven Top 10 prospects still available, the battle for the nation's No. 1 recruiting class is far from over. However, Ohio State has established itself as the early favorite after landing two of the nation's top recruits.

Remaining Top 10 Recruits Available: 7

Texas A&M Aggies — 2032 Recruiting Class Update
Building the Foundation of the Future
Texas A&M's 2032 recruiting class continues to take shape, and while the class remains in its early stages, Mike Elko and his staff have already assembled a group of talented prospects with strong in-state roots and significant upside.

The Aggies currently hold commitments from five recruits, including four highly-rated 4-star prospects and one of the nation's top specialist recruits.

Houston Pipeline Continues to Pay Off

The headliners of the class remain Houston teammates Jayden Shor and Nazir Roberts, two players who helped establish the foundation of Texas A&M's 2032 recruiting cycle.

Jayden Shor, a 4-star cornerback ranked No. 138 nationally, gives the Aggies another physical defensive back with SEC-ready toughness. At 5'11" and 208 pounds, Shor possesses the size and strength to compete immediately against elite receivers while also contributing in run support.
  • 4-Star Recruit
  • No. 138 Nationally
  • No. 22 CB Nationally
  • Houston, Texas
His leadership and experience playing high-level Texas football make him one of the most important defensive additions in the class.

Meanwhile, fellow Houston native Nazir Roberts remains the quarterback of the future for the Aggies.
  • 4-Star Recruit
  • No. 238 Nationally
  • No. 17 QB Nationally
  • Houston, Texas
At 6'2" and 179 pounds, Roberts brings mobility, arm talent, and playmaking ability. Coaches believe he has the tools to eventually develop into a high-level SEC starter.

Having already spent years competing and winning together in high school, Roberts and Shor arrive in College Station with built-in chemistry and leadership experience.

A Dynamic Addition in the Backfield

Texas A&M added another explosive offensive weapon with the commitment of Oscar Padrino.

The 4-star halfback from Coppell, Texas ranks No. 229 nationally and gives the Aggies a versatile playmaker capable of making an impact both as a runner and receiver.
  • 4-Star Recruit
  • No. 229 Nationally
  • No. 22 HB Nationally
  • Coppell, Texas
At 5'9" and 178 pounds, Padrino fits the modern spread offense perfectly, bringing speed, acceleration, and big-play potential to the Aggie backfield.

Building the Trenches

Championship programs are built up front, and Texas A&M addressed the offensive line with one of the top interior linemen in Texas.

Maurice Kumar enters the class as a 4-star guard ranked No. 314 nationally and No. 13 at his position.
  • 4-Star Recruit
  • No. 314 Nationally
  • No. 13 OG Nationally
  • Stafford, Texas
Standing 6'4" and weighing 321 pounds, Kumar already possesses SEC-caliber size and projects as a future anchor along the Aggies' offensive line.

His commitment continues Texas A&M's emphasis on building physicality in the trenches.

Special Teams Matter

One of the more underrated commitments in the class is punter Jason Mare.

While specialists rarely receive national attention, Mare ranks among the top punters in America and gives Texas A&M long-term stability in the kicking game.
  • 3-Star Recruit
  • No. 4 Punter Nationally
  • Spring, Michigan
Elite field position often wins close SEC games, making Mare a valuable addition to the program.

Early Class Outlook

Although the 2032 cycle is still developing, Texas A&M has established a strong foundation by focusing on key positions across the roster.
  • Future quarterback secured
  • Impact cornerback added
  • Explosive running back committed
  • Offensive line reinforced
  • Top specialist acquired
Most importantly, four of the five commitments come from Texas, reinforcing the Aggies' ability to keep elite in-state talent at home.

With plenty of recruiting battles still ahead, Mike Elko and Texas A&M have positioned themselves well to continue building a class capable of competing for SEC and national championships.

Yeah it was tough man. We struggled more than we should.

What hurts as well was the rust and spear heading into that game had me ranked as number one and they were looking like they were gonna commit and then yeah we kind of shit the bed. The next thing you know one’s going to Texas one’s going to Ohio State. I’m still in play for the top tackle and the top defensive end so hopefully I can a nice win on the board and get those guys signed. Cheers as always for following man. I really appreciate it.

I think this will be the last season I play. But I’m going to sun another season or two and just do a write up and graphic for it. Mainly to see how Griffen finish his career and also Cleveland.

I’m also trying to figure out who I run with in 27.

Cheers man. Yeah I went back and played a few games but have been look at all the stuff coming for 27 and decided I wanted to take a break from NCAA till the new release.

Saying that I started playing Madden again and it’s beautiful. So every chance I get a few seasons in on that here.

I appreciate you following man, I hope you will follow my 27 one.
