Oh the days. No Abramovic at Chelsea. No Arabs at City or Newcastle. No Glazers at United. Ronaldo still having his knees. We didn't know how lucky we were.

I'd probably go through the Chelsea and Man City buy-outs, the ramifications on the present are just too big to ignore (I will try to sign some of the players they signed, though)

I never liked the fall of United, so they will stay competitive if I can find the way.

Good to see how this season turns out. Top 5 no surprises but keep an eye on leeds in the rear view mirror. Really started to turn a corner from now on. No surprise that they drew with you

They signed two great players in Rush and Sharpe. They finished this season in mid-table in real life, but they were pretty difficult here.

Yes sir, looking great so far and Merson is coming back soon. Hopefully we can beat Schalke, they won the Cup in real life that season.

Disappointing exit against Schalke. 0-0 and 1-1. I never found it fair that one team would go through and the other would go out after 1-1 on aggregate. But hey, that was the rules back then. One of the few things, where everything wasn't better in the good old days...
