‣ NFL 2027 Wild Card Round - New Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee
(12-6) Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans (13-5)
DEN | 0 | 3 | 6 | 0 | 9
TEN | 7 | 14 | 10 | 10 | 41
Tennessee Titans linebacker Zaire Franklin challenged the defense after their lackluster end to the regular season, surrendering 38 points in a loss to the New Orleans Saints and allowing a multitude of explosive plays. The Titans defense responded with arguably their best defensive performance of the season by keeping the Denver Broncos out of the endzone in a 41-9 victory to advance to the Divisional Round.
The Broncos got off to a good start with a 59-yard completion on the third play of the game only for Bo Nix to be sacked and then intercepted on consecutive plays. The Titans would then score in nine plays, converting an early third and ten to set a template for the rest of the game where the Broncos had no answers on either side of the ball.
The final nail in the coffin would come in the third phase of the game as Deion Burks returned the second half opening kickoff for 94 yards to extend the Titans lead to 28-3 and then the Broncos followed it up with a three-and-out which allowed the Titans to eat up most of the remaining third quarter before kicking a field goal.
Cam Ward finished the game 19 of 24 for 243 yards and two touchdowns while Nix completed 61 percent of his passes for 270 yards and an interception with no help from his running game with top running back Jaden Baugh averaging 1.2 yards per carry.
