PORTLAND — A clash between the third & fourth place teams in the Western Conference ends in a Suns' win as Westley Hunt scored 41 points to lead his team to victory. Prior to the tip, the Portland Trail Blazers played a mini video package for Tiny Jimenez, who played 1 season for the Trail Blazers before being traded to the Indiana Pacers in the offseason after. Despite not making a big impact in Portland, Jimenez & 2x NBA champion, Treysi Royal (Milwaukee Bucks) captured the hearts of the Blazers' faithful & made the team box office without making the Playoffs.

Jimenez scored 16 points & dished out 8 assists for the Suns in the win after graciously accepting the standing ovation in Portland.

"I played one season here in my 17-year pro career.." Jimenez told DS.net hours before the game. "There's always going to be feelings here. I raised my family here for a year. The fans accepted us. Portland is just another home away from us for us."

While the arena sold out for a chance to witness Tiny Jimenez back in Portland, it was Westley Hunt who dominated the game. Hunt scored 41 points on 15/24 shooting, including a hot 5/7 from range.

"He was unconscious tonight. Easily the most underrated, appreciated player in the NBA right now." Suns' Recks Black said after the victory.

The Trail Blazers fought valiantly against the Suns, even leading them through the first quarter of tonight's action. Dee Johnson, the #2 pick in the 2024 NBA draft, is finally living up to the hype & finished with 38 points in the loss for the Blazers.

"There's not many people out there who can drop 38 on DJ [Porter Sr.] & live to tell about it." Westley Hunt joked in his post-game interview.

With a win over the Blazers, the Suns now move into the 3rd place spot in the Western Conference. They'll be back in action again on December 1st for a Tuesday night battle against the Washington Wizards in Phoenix.
