‣ NFL 2027 Regular Season, Week 13 - NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas
(8-4) Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans (7-5)
TEN | 7 | 13 | 8 | 10 | 38
HOU | 7 | 14 | 7 | 7 | 35

Brandon Aubrey kicks 61-yard GW field goal as Titans overcome injuries to rally against Houston
The Tennessee Titans had to hand the ball off to tight end Darnell Washington on a crucial third and one from the 50-yard line as all of their active running backs were sidelined with injuries. The 280-pound Washington came through in the clutch, picking up the first down and more to set up Brandon Aubrey's game winning 61-yard field goal to beat the Houston Texans 38-35 on Sunday afternoon and take the division lead.
It was a gritty win for the Titans who fumbled twice in the first half and had an untimely interception in the third quarter but managed to stay afloat, entering the fourth quarter tied up after Damien Martinez' 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
Titans running back Mark Fletcher, who eclipsed 1,000-yards on the season, would punch it in from four yards out midway through the fourth quarter to give the Titans the lead before leaving the game with an injury. C.J. Stroud would respond with some clutch throws, finding Christian 'Charlie' Kirk for gains of eleven and nineteen and converting a third and ten with a completion to Tank Dell, who he found in the endzone later in the drive for the game tying touchdown with three minutes left.
Completions of ten yards to Xavier Restrepo and Ja'Kobi Lane would put the Titans near Aubrey's field goal range with Washington's three subsequent carries getting them there.

Titans elevate Jaivian Thomas from their practice squad as Mark Fletcher, Jam Miller expected to be out
The Tennessee Titans have signed practice squad running back Jaivian Thomas to their active roster and released center Matt Lee as they anticipate being without running backs Mark Fletcher Jr. and Jam Miller for the foreseeable future.
Fletcher, the team's leading rusher, dislocated his elbow against Houston this past Sunday and Miller suffered broken ribs with both second-year running backs expected to be out for potentially the rest of the regular season.
Thomas, an undrafted rookie, spent the preseason with the Titans and showed some flashes before making the practice squad. The Titans also invited free agent running backs Rico Dowdle and Blake Corum for workouts but have yet to sign them them with indications pointing towards the Titans playing the Dolphins this week with Damien Martinez and Thomas as their lone two healthy running backs.

I sat here for 10 seconds waiting for the gif to start playing. Only to realize that's just a picture of a guy running and blurred..
Good win, injuries are piling up though. Not a lot of wiggle room in the standings if you slip up.
