Suns Play From Behind In Tonight's Season-Opening Loss Against The Super Cash Bros
Regular Season Game 1: October 21, 2037- American Airlines Center, Dallax, TX
vs.
PHX | 19 | 27 | 24 | 35 | 105
DAL | 22 | 29 | 28 | 29 | 108

Mo Cash celebrates with brother Chasson Cash at the final horn to celebrate tonight's win in his Dallas Mavericks' debut.
DALLAS — The season opener for the Phoenix Suns & Dallas Mavericks did not disappoint as two goliaths went down to the final second. Tiny Jimenez's last second look ended with a bit of controversy as Mavericks' James Taylor made contact with him mid-air during the shot. There was no whistle on the shot & the game ended with the Mavericks picking up their first win this season.
"It's a tough call. Obviously, I believe I was fouled. It was a missed opportunity that could've sent the game to overtime, but what can you do?" a visibly frustrated Tiny Jimenez told DS.net in the locker room after the Suns' loss.
The Super Cash Bros dominated in tonight's victory with Chasson dropping 26 points & contributing on the defensive end with 6 blocks. Mo Cash asserted his way to 20 points & 10 rebounds, & Nash cashing in on 18 points to go along with 6 dimes.
Recks Black led the Suns in scoring tonight with 30 points while the big man, DJ Porter Sr., struggled to score on the offensive end, adding only 9 points on a tough 4/16 shooting night.
"He had a rough night scoring." Suns' head coach LeBron James said. "Even if he makes two of those tough shots he took tonight, we win the game. We'll regroup & prepare for tomorrow night in New Orleans."
The Suns didn't get the win they wanted in the season-opener, but they'll have another chance in tomorrow night's back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Phoenix Suns' Top Performers:

Recks Black: 30 Points, 5 Assists, 12/20 FG, 4/6 3PT, 2/2 FT
Tiny Jimenez: 26 Points, 8 Assists, 13/22 FG, 1/4 3PT, 1/2 FT
Westley Hunt: 20 Points, 6 Rebounds, 8/11 FG, 3/4 3PT, 1/1 FT
DJ Porter Sr.: 9 Points, 19 Rebounds, 7 Blocks, 4/16 FG, 1/3 FT
Dallas Mavericks' Top Performers:

Chasson Cash: 26 Points, 5 Rebounds, 6 Blocks, 9/16 FG, 3/6 3PT, 5/7 FT
Mo Cash: 20 Points, 10 Rebounds, 3 Blocks, 10/15 FG
James Taylor: 19 Points, 4 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 5/14 FG, 3/6 3PT, 6/7 FT
Nash Cash: 18 Points, 5 Rebounds, 6 Assists, 7/11 FG, 2/3 3PT, 2/2 FT
Zion Williamson: 10 Points, 4 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 4/7 FG, 1/1 3PT, 1/2 FT

Mo Cash & Chasson Cash speak with a reporter before tonight's tip-off.

It didn't take long for 4x NBA Slam Dunk champion' Tiny Jimenez to take flight in tonight's contest.

Despite offensive struggles, DJ Porter Sr. never gave up on making the big play.

James Taylor headed to the locker room with a hyperextended left knee sustained in second quarter. He returned to finish the game & will be reevaluated tomorrow.

The first of many connections to come as Tiny Jimenez finds Recks Black for a vicious alley-oop slam over James Taylor.
Suns' Current Record:
0-1
Next Game:
@ New Orleans Pelicans (0-1)
