DJ Porter Sr. Is The Next Superstar To Join Tiny Jimenez's Farewell Tour In Phoenix.
One day after it was revealed that Recks Black signed with the Suns, the big man from Miami has followed suit. DJ Porter Sr. is leaving the Miami Heat after two championships to head to the Valley & join forces with Tiny Jimenez, Westley Hunt, & now Recks.
After last season's injury riddled-season in Phoenix that landed them into the draft lottery & outside of the playoffs, it's a surprise the immediate turn the future has shifted with the signing of the big man from UL Lafayette. Now the Phoenix Suns become a potential contender in the new season.
Porter Sr. leaves behind a dynasty that was made 4 years ago in Miami when he & Jere Augustus signed with the Heat to join Lyric Houston. Together, the team won two NBA championships (both against the Dallas Mavericks), alongside Conference Finals' losses in the first season against the would-be champion' Washington Wizards (2034) & last season's champions, the Milwaukee Bucks (2037).
Porter Sr. averaged 18.0 PPG, 12.2 RPG, 4.3 APG, 1.5 SPG, & 1.8 BPG last season for the Miami Heat as the team finished with a 66-16 record.
With the signing of Porter Sr., it's safe to assume for the Phoenix Suns' fans that big man Edmond Lawson will not be resigned to the team next season.

The Cash Brothers Join Forces In Dallas While Alfredo Bell Joins The Defending Champions In Milwaukee
The NBA offseason is always full of surprises. This year wasn't short of disappointment as current & former All-Stars made moves to new teams.

A blockbuster deal between the Dallas Mavericks & Atlanta Hawks sees Mo Cash join his two brothers in Dallas for Jabari Smith, Jalen Williams, & a 38' & 39' 1st Rd draft pick.
Most notable was the Dallas Mavericks & the Atlanta Hawks agreeing on a trade for Mo Cash, that will now see him join his two brothers, Chasson & Nash Cash, alongside James Taylor. Chasson & Taylor both have a championship under their belt with different organizations.

Alfredo Bell III departs the 76ers & joins Treysi Royal & Hisashi Sakai in Milwaukee in exchange for Jalen Hood-Schifino, James Wiseman, & a 38' & 39' 1st Rd draft pick.
Also worth noting, the young phenom out of UNLV, Alfredo Bell III, will be joining the defending champions' Milwaukee Bucks. The addition of a point guard like Bell III, who many fans compare to John Stockton, will allow better spacing for the Bucks & could be what leads to a repeat as NBA champions.
Bell III requested a trade from the franchise & Philadelphia felt they got the best deal with the defending champions.

Scottie Barnes returns to the Toronto Raptors for year-16 in exchange for Darius Vann & LaMelo Ball to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Once Recks Black darted for Phoenix from the New Orleans Pelicans, there was a hole to fill & the Pels didn't waste time filling it. A trade was made with the Toronto Raptors that saw Scottie Barnes rejoining the team that drafted him in 2021 in exchange for LaMelo Ball & Darius Vann. Ball, 36, has a chance to compete for his first title in his 17-year career alongside Morgan Sauce.
This trade helps alleviate the loss of a superstar like Black, but also leans into the future with Darius Vann, & also gives Ball & Sauce a chance to form a duo that might make a run for the title.

Year-17 Anthony Edwards & Year-16 Cade Cunningham will join forces in Los Angeles next season in hopes of bringing a championship back to the Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers haven't won a championship in a really, really, really long time. Hope is on the horizon as two perennial all-stars have joined forces in Los Angeles to pull off such a feat. Anthony Edwards & Cade Cunningham know their time in the league is nearing it's end, but teaming up for a title could be a huge accolade for both of their careers.

Year-18 Darius Garland & Year-19 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are returning to the franchises that drafted them for their final season in the NBA.
While Tiny Jimenez's farewell tour has dominated the media headlines, among him are two former All-Stars, Darius Garland & Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Garland joined the Denver Nuggets in 2032, where he as has played the past 5 seasons, while SGA is coming off one season in Atlanta after being traded from the Boston Celtics. Gilgeous-Alexander departed from OKC in the 2031 offseason to join the Celtics.

Year-17 Tyrese Haliburton joins the Miami Heat while Year-10 Frederic Sirvydis departs from the Clippers to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans.
& lastly, in the final days of the NBA off-season, the Miami Heat secured the signing of Tyrese Haliburton, who has only spent his career in Sacramento, Indianapolis, & Minnesota, to a 1-year deal.
On the flip side, Frederic Sirvydis, the #1 pick in the 2028 NBA Draft (selected over James Taylor who went #2) has left the Clippers organization to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Sirvydis was a 2x NBA All-Star with the Los Angeles Clippers but ultimately decided it was time to move to a new team.

Tiny Loses The Game. Now He Loses His Hair.

"You can't beat me in this game, Dad!" August said as she sat on the couch next to Tiny.
"Is that so? Let's make it interesting, kid! Bet something!" He fired back as he tossed her a controller.
"Bet your Olympic' gold medal from LA?" she suggested.
"No way! You better go get your own! Now c'mon.. Who are you going to be?" he asked with a laugh.
August scrolled the list of fighters before settling on one.
"How about one of your Finals MVP awards? ..& I think I'm going to be the one person who probably would've taken your belt, if I'm being honest. POATAN!"
"...."

"Let's bet if I win, you have to cut your hair tonight."
"Kid? You've lost your mind. I ain't doing that." Tiny replied.
"Pssht. You're just scared because you know you can't beat me! Or that you can't beat Alex Pereira.." August replied with a smirk as her fighter made his walk into the octagon.

"I ain't doing all that."
"It's okay Dad! If you're scared, you're scared. Just say you're scared.. I mean, I don't blame you. You know how good I am at this game."
"Ah hell naw. Bet that. That's the bet. If I lose, I have to cut my hair."
"Are you sure? No backing out."
"It's a bet..& If you lose.. You have to cut your hair.."
"I gotta keep it real now, Dad. Let's do this.."
"You play too much, girl. All right. 5 Rounds. If I win you have to cut your hair."
"Deal."

The first round started off slow as they didn't want to use up all of their stamina in the first of a five round fight.

However, Tiny seemed to have the upper hand at the end of the first round with a knockdown scored.

"I almost won!" Tiny shouted as the first round ended.
"I ain't losing! I ain't losing this one tonight!

"Yeah.. you almost had me Dad. Let's see what you got next." August said with a smile.
..& just like that..

August timed the overhand right for the finishing knockout.

"... What the fuck is this shit.." Tiny said under his breath.

"No fucking way!" August shouted with a burst.
"Whoa! Language!" Tiny replied, but the writing was already on the wall.
"You have to cut your hair now, Dad!" August shouted in excitement after her victory.

As the other kids joined to witness the humiliation, Autumn chimed in & said something.
"Dad, are you really going to shave your head completely bald?"
Tiny looked toward August, who clearly held the stipulations for the haircut after beating him.
"No.. He doesn't have to go completely bald.. But all of this.. is gone!" she said as she ran her fingers through her dad's hair.
Tiny couldn't help but enjoy the embarrassment in his household & hugged August before heading to the barber.

"A bet is a bet. You won, kid."
Tiny told the camera man to quit filming. The world will have to wait for what's next for the Shogun of Newark.

Tiny Jimenez Shows Up For Media Day With A Familiar Look; An Homage To His UFC Career & Early Years.

PHOENIX - Tiny Jimenez, the superstar guard for the Suns who has announced his retirement from the NBA after the new season, has shown up to media day with a new look — but fans may recognize it from his UFC' days & early NBA years for #32.
After a video game loss against his daughter, August Jimenez, Tiny promised to cut his hair ahead of his last NBA season.
"Honestly, it's a breathe of fresh air.." Tiny Jimenez told DS.net at the Suns' media day coverage.
It's a symbol of a new beginning. A beginning of the end. We're coming full circle in Phoenix this season." Tiny told DS.net.
While the symbolism may be important to Jimenez himself, many fans around the world are shocked by the decision ahead of his final year.
"At least I don't have to worry as much about my hair this season.." Jimenez joked at media day.
The Phoenix Suns didn't just reload their roster, they prepared for all out war. With the additions of DJ Porter Sr. & Recks Black, another Suns championship could be in store.
A new look for Jimenez & a new look for the Suns may just be what the franchise has been needing after all of these years.

I just love how invested you have been in your aging of Tiny over the years. No stone left unturned. Let's see if he can pick up one more chip.
