CUSA- #20 USC did all it could do defeating Virginia (38-10) to move to 12-1 on the season but it doesn't look like it will be enough for the Bulls to secure a spot in the CFB Playoffs.

MWC- Colorado State shocked Fresno State (24-17) to win the schools first ever MWC, wth rumors it could also be their last as both the Pac-12 and Big 12 look at the Rams as a potential member next year.

MAC- Central Michigan dominated the Bobcats (52-31) to match USF's 12-1 record but like the Bulls it appears the Chippawa's will be left outside the playoffs and have to settle for just being ranked

Sun Belt-Louisiana added to their trophy case with another Sun Belt title as they defeat Georgia State (28-7).

Big 12- Texas got it's revenge on the Cornhuskers earning their 9th Big 12 title in the past 12 seasons with a (38-14) victory well also securing themselves a 1st Round home game in the playoffs.

ACC- Georgia secured their 2nd straight ACC title with a (45-27) victory over Clemson. The victory secures the Bulldogs a 1st Round "Bye" and Top-4 seed well the Tigers are now on the bubble with their 3rd loss of the season.

Big Ten- Ohio State handed Wisconsin their first loss of the season in a rematch of the 2019 Championship with a (38-27) victory.. The Win secures the Buckeyes the #1 seed going into the playoffs. and is HC Dan Lanning's 2nd Big Ten title in the past 3 seasons. Despite the loss the Badgers will still most likely secure a Top-4 seed in the playoffs

Despite not coming even close to Desean Swaim's #'s from last year (2226 yds 33 TD), Stock performed a clean sweep winning the Heisman, Maxwell, Doak Walker and Walter Camp Award rushing 319 times for 1673 yds with 23 TD

Miller
"We have had some great RB's in the past put up huge #'s including Ashton Jeanty, SIre Gaines (2026 season in this dynasty 1725 yds 28 TD) and Dee Swaim's and Angel Coker's #'s last year so it's good to see a Bronco finally earn the respect of the voters and the country"
STOCK IN GOOD COMPANY

2034 SELECTION SUNDAY

Alabama and UCLA failing to pull off the upsets in the SEC and Pac-12 Championships were the best news possible for schools like Florida State and Miami as both schools moved up in the rankings securing a spot in the playoffs.

The Committee didn't really pull off any shocking moves this year other then maybe awarding Wisconsin the #3 seed after their loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship., but mabye that was making up for making #12 Michigan the first team out as they move the Wolverines down to #13 to make room for ACC-Runner Up Clemson as the #12 seed.

That means that (2) 3 loss teams (#9 Nebraska and #12 Clemson) will make the playoffs this year with

#13 (10-2) Michigan,, #14 (10-2) LSU, #15 (10-2) USC, #16 (10-3) Alabama #17 (11-2) UCLA, #20 UCF (12-1) and #24 (12-1) Central Michigan all worndering why.

Here is a look at this year's matchup's.

#12 (10-3) Clemson vs #5 (11-2) Texas.. Winner will face #4 (12-1) Boise State in the Sugar Bowl

#9 (10-3) Nebraska vs #8 (10-2) Oklahoma.. Winner will face #1 (12-1) Ohio State in the Rose Bowl

#11 (10-2) Miami FL vs #6 (10-2) Oregon. Winner will face #3 (12-1) Wisconsin in the Cotton Bowl

#10 (10-2) Florida State vs #7 (12-1) Ole Miss. Winner will face #2 (11-2) Georgia in the Orange Bowl.

1ST ROUND RESULTS
#5 Texas dominated #12 Seed Clemson with a (41-3) victory leaving many more to question the committee's decision to include the Tigers in the playoffs to begin with. The Longhorns and Broncos are no strangers having already met each other 3 times in previous playoff runs and Coach Miller is very familiar with current Longhorn QB Lyle Vaughns (87 ovr)

#9 Nebraska pulled off a (21-19( win over Oklahoma to advance for a shot at #1 Ohio State in the Rose Bowl setting up what could be a very interesting similar final matchup that could either be a rematch of BSU vs Ohio State or maybe Nebraska vs Texas 2034 Part III.

#6 Oregon used the home field advantage to take out #11 Miami (29-17) earning a chance to take on #3 Wisconsin.. The Ducks and Badgers former Big Ten foes and potential future Big Ten foes, will battle it out for the chance to advance..

#7 Ole Miss survived a 4th Quarter comeback by #10 FSU by forcing the Seminoles to a pair of FG's in the 4th Quarter to hold onto the (35-34) victory. The Rebels will now see if they can keep the magic going as they take on #2 Georgia in the Orange Bowl

OTHER NOTWORTHY BOWL GAMES SCORES

#22 Cincinnati defeated Akron (68-24) in the 68 Ventures Bowl
#17 UCLA defeated Texas Tech (41-10) in the Alamo Bowl

#18 Florida defeated Wyoming (38-28) in the Birmingham Bowl

I saw this and thought Kade was catching strays :dead:

Texas v Boise State in the playoff is a nice set up for a potential move to the Big 12 and a new rivalry for Boise State

STOCK CARRY'S BRONCOS TO VICTORY!!!

GAME RECAP

With back to back weeks of rest, RB Greg Stock came out showing no effects of the rib injury that caused him to depart the Pac-12 Championship game early. Stock would carry the ball 16 times in the 1st half for 120 yds and score 3 touchdowns to give Boise State a (24-10) lead at the break.

Boise State would open up the 2nd half with the ball and quickly added to their lead as Tobias Barksdale caps off the 12 play 80 yd drive with 12 yd strike to Felxi Donahue to make it (31-10)

Texas QB Lyle Vaughn (87 Ovr) who did play a pretty solid 1st half with 220 yds on 75% completions however would have his first big mistake of the day throwing a INT to SR CB Roland Finely who would set up another Bronco touchdown as Barksdale hits TE Scott Fowler in th endzone to make it (38-10)..

Still 38-10) entering the 4th, Vaughn would bounce back as the 5* RS Sophomore hits JR WR Jinau Cash (87 Ovr) on a 49 yd bomb to make it (38-17) with 8 minutes to play in the game.

Leading by 3 scores, Coach Miller knew he just need to take time off the clock and sustain some long drives. The plan worked as the Broncos take 4 minutes off the clock before setting for a Nick Mateo 27 yd FG to make it (41-20) with 4:10 to play in the game.

Running out of time for a comeback Texas would ditch the run game as Vaughn comes out firing completing 7/10 pass's on the Longhorns drive including a 26 yd touchdown to SO WR Baraka Price (87 Ovr).. to make it (41-16). Texas would leave the offense on the field and covert the 2pt play to make it (41-18) with 2:48 to play.. Miller not taking any chances would send out the hands team ready for the onside kick, but it was almost like Texas was waiving the white flag of defeat as they send the ball into the endzone for the touchback.

Still armed with 3 timeouts Texas would try and slow down Stock but the but a pair of 1st down runs and a 30 yd completion took would put BSU in FG range as Miller sends out his Freshman kicker for a 41 yd attempt for one final score.

Vaughn finished the game 33/46 (71%) for 440 yds with 2 TD and the 1 INT in the loss.

QUARTER FINAL RESULTS

#1 Ohio State took care of business against the Cornhuskers in the Rose Bowl leading (21-7) at the half the Buckeyes added 17 more in the 4th Quarter for a (45-24) victory as OSU sets up a Natty rematch with Boise State in the Peach Bowl as 1 of the 2 teams is guaranteed a spot back in the National Championship in back to back seasons. Ohio State was led by JR RB Alphonso Stump (88 Ovr) who finished with 4 touchdowns on the day rushing 22 times for 71 yds.

#3 Wisconsin ended the Ducks dreams of a Natty run in a defensive battle that saw Oregon manage just 267 yards of total offense including just 11 yds on 19 carries on the ground. Wisconsin held Oregon scoreless for 3 Quarter before the Ducks scrapped together a pair of scores late in the 4th to make it (24-14). Shakir Henry had just 30 yds on 12 carries, QB Darren Jewell was 15/38 (39%) throwing for 256 yds and 1 TD well also throwing 2 INT and was sacked 4 times.

#2 Georgia lead (31-14) at the half and (45-14) at the end of the 3rd, but Ole Miss never gave up scoring 4 times in the 4th Quarter but their rally would come up short as the Bulldogs hold on to the (45-40) victory. Ole Miss JR QB Barry Butts threw for 434 yds with 5 TD but it was his 2 INT that killed the upset from happening. Fred Bilenikoff winner Robert Paul had 9 rec for 112 yds and 3 touchdowns in the loss.

Georgia QB Enrique Durham (96 ovr) threw for 374 yds with 3 TD in the win well the RB duo of SO George Hawkinson (84)-14 carries 84 yds 1 TD and SR Dionte Kmble (87)- 15 carries 81 yds 2 TD combined for 165 yds and 3 scores.

Completely dominated Texas. Ohio State might give you a game but nobody else has a shot.
