DELAWARE DOMINATES MISSOURI STATE ON THE GROUND
Blue Hens finish regular season perfect at 12–0

Saturday November 28, 2026 | Delaware Stadium – Newark, Delaware | 3:00 PM
Newark, Delaware – Delaware took a few drives to find its rhythm on Saturday, but once the Blue Hens settled in, Missouri State had no answers.
After falling behind 3–0 in the first quarter, the undefeated Hens reeled off 38 unanswered points, leaning on a bruising rushing attack and a stifling defense to dismantle the visiting Bears and move to 12–0 on the season.
Running back Darrion Dupree was the centerpiece of the offense once again, rushing for 146 yards and two scores on just 16 carries. Quarterback Mason Kelsay added 70 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while also throwing for 130 yards and a short touchdown to Ja’Carree Kelly before halftime.
“We kept our heads down and ran the ball like we always do,” Dupree said. “Our O-line wore them out, and once we got going, we didn’t look back.”
The second half belonged to the defense and special teams. Delaware held Missouri State to just 69 rushing yards on 26 attempts, picked off Cole Feuerbacher twice, and completely shut the Bears out in the red zone.
Kahlil Seay and Chris Gill each grabbed interceptions, while Acheampong and the defensive front created pressure throughout the afternoon. Missouri State’s lone scoring drives were a pair of Josh Deal field goals, one in the first, one midway through the third.
Luke Brown capped the day with a late five-yard touchdown run, giving the Blue Hens their fourth rushing score and sealing a complete team performance.
“Wins like this are about culture,” head coach Tony Sanchez said. “You grind, you trust, and you take care of business no matter how you start. That’s who we are.”
With the regular season now in the books, Delaware turns its attention to the postseason—undefeated, battle-tested, and still getting better.
