Huskies land three-star safety Etienne, lose out on CB Moore

UConn received a verbal commitment from three-star safety Garrison Etienne after he concluded his visits with Virginia and Boston College, previously visiting Storrs back in week seven.

Etienne's play style caters more to a zone coverage scheme and should fit UConn's defensive unit pretty well. At 6-2, 217 pounds, he'll have his opportunity to slot in as a sub-package linebacker as well.

In related news, targeted three-star cornerback Jason Moore decided to join Boston College's 2025 recruiting class instead of playing in Storrs next fall.
