Hawaii Recruitment Begins.
"Hell of a performance tonight, Jozif!" Hawaii' head coach, Timmy Chang, said after the game.
"Blimey. Timmy Chang. It's nice to finally meet you.. I saw the news that Hawaii was interested but I didn't expect you would show up so soon." Jozif rebutted.
"You have a field of vision out there, kid. I can see how you're constantly looking to get open.. Even if it means going against the current play call.."
"I am just trying to win us the game, coach. By any means necessary. Even if it means going the opposite direction where I'm supposed to be, haha."
"Make no question about it, we want you to come to Hawaii after your senior season. We truly believe you'll be a great fit in our offense, & you can help elevate our program's status to one of the best teams in the nation."
"Say less, coach. Hawaii sounds like a dream come true."
"You without a doubt have an offer to join us.. Whenever you're ready to sign that letter of intent.. But I didn't travel this far to just come see you play one night. I spoke to your Dad during the game & he's agreed to it, we're going to watch the Colts play against the Steelers this Sunday."

"It will give us tons of time to speak about how Hawaii can help elevate your status to the next level & prepare you for life after college.. & if we're lucky, I've arranged for Rigoberto Sanchez, punter for the Colts & former Hawaii player, to meet us after the game.. Things can change for professional athletes, but that's the plan."

"Hawaii though, Jozif?! I'm proud of you, but damn, J!" Jade said to Jozif as the two entertained each other for dinner on Saturday night.
"I haven't signed anything babes. Just letting you, mandem want to see me play in Hawaii.. & I can't lie, who wouldn't want to do that? Besides, you'd come with me.. Wouldn't you?"
"Jozif, I can't afford to enroll at a university in Hawaii!! When I was telling you recently that I hoped you stayed local, it was so I can pay in-state tuition & get a better deal than out-of-state!"
At that time the waiter approached the table.
"Do you two know what you want?"
"Oy, yeah babes. You go first."
"I'll have the roman parmesan crusted chicken.. with a loaded baked potato."
"... & you sir?"
I'll have a hangover burger with steak fries.."
The waiter took the menu & returned to the kitchen while the two high school sweethearts continued their conversation.
"Truss. I haven't signed anything yet. Let me find out if I can get you a chance to join mans. If not, we'll go back to the drawing board.."
"Whatever, J.. Do what makes you happy.. I just, nevermind.."
"Jade! Relax! We still have time before we get there.."
"Do we, Jozif? Because I'm seeing on twitter that transferring to another school outside of Somerset is also what's best for you. So you tell me exactly what your plans are.."
"My plans are to win the state championship next week.. As of now, I'm not transferring. I love Somerset. But it makes sense. Get around better talent to show that I belong.. But mans can't be bothered. I'm just enjoying it all one day at a time.."
Jozif leaned in to kiss Jade but she decided to turn her cheek at the last moment.
"Not now, J. I need a little bit of time to process all of this.. We can just go to Western Kentucky together.. I know they're really interested in you too."
"Ah, yes. Western Kentucky.. We'll see, Jade. Just trust mans."
While Jozif is torn between keeping his girlfriend happy, there's a part of him that's intrigued at the recent recruitment from Hawaii. Tomorrow he & his father will join Rainbow Warriors' head coach, Timmy Chang, at the Titans vs. Steelers matchup in Nashville, TN.
