Grienke not getting in the HoF? What a sham.
Interesting pickups by your club. Looking forward to what season 2 brings.
Also is Arenado still in STL? Seems strange to sign a big FA at 3rd.
How nasty is that HOU rotation now?
Yeah, I'm excited about Rosario. Anderson is fast, but he's not Rosario fast. I think having him hitting 1st or 2nd ahead of Jimenez and Robert, Jr. will get us a lot of runs from singles and doubles we weren't getting last season. That said, I think the more important moves were locking down Cease and Rodgers on team-friendly deals. I still have a lot of wiggle room in my budget for 2025 free agency and will have more when Lance Lynn's $19M rolls off the books.
Arenado's still there. They have Donaldson in Triple A barely paying him $1M. He wasn't signed until right after the arbitration hearings.
Their 5th guy is an 85 overall, bro.

Kershaw (90), Javier (89), Severino (87), Valdez (87), McCullers, Jr. (85). And they still have Luis Garcia (82) and Jose Urquidy (79) on their roster. I tried to do a little sneaky sneak trade for Garcia and they shut it down. It seemed like Kershaw and Severino made a pact to go to the same place, though, because for a minute there they were both leaning toward the Dodgers ... who were also leading on Aaron Nola for the longest before he re-upped with the Phillies. Think I would've rage quit the chise if the Dodgers had signed all three of them.
