I know my roster looks like trash, but per Schnaidt's sliders and roster, so are other teams.
Only 16 teams have 3 80+ OVRs, two teams have 4 80+ OVRs (Pelicans & Warriors).
Now it's just a matter of putting shit together cause our chemistry (12%) is ass lol

GAMETIME
The off-season was completed. The pre-season games were played. All the prep time in the world were spent. All that was left was the NBA season tip-off. December 9th was here, game one was here. The Indiana Pacers were here. It was a full house of Philly and they were expecting success from the jump. In a few moments, the next 48 minutes will tell how this season will start for the two teams. For Recks though, it was the beginning of everything. Years of playgound pick-up, recreational try-outs, practices, junior varsity, varsity, college, rehabilitation, all accumulated up to this very day for him. Nerves of steel, but first impressions he was a big believer on.
"You ready for tonight rookie?" Joel towers over the seated Recks, patting him on the back.
"Yeah man, I live for this day. It's a new beginning, a new era here in Philly. And after what you been through, I say it's high time you get a new beginning your-self."
"I don't think too much of the past. I'm just trying to focus on tonight, focus on game one. We go out there and set the tone for the season."
"Yeah, I'm on the same page with you. Hey, these fans are as tough as they look on TV?" Recks asked with a smile.
"Not only tough, but scary. These guys put it all out there with us. Emotions, intensity, passion, everything." Joel sits next to Recks continuing his thought. "One thing for certain, Philly will let you know how they feel, home team or not. They have a lot of love for the game and team."
"Yeah, but that's anywhere. With the right dedicated fanbase, any team can be hardcore. Boston, L.A., Chicago, Miami."
"Yeah, but they are not like here. They don't play here like we do. They don't come sit and watch cause of celebrities sitting courtside. They're here for game we play all year long. We don't do right by them, they'll let you have it."
"Yeah, I seen what they did to Ben Simmons. That boy was doo-doo from the start."
"Yeah, that guy, I'm not going to speak on that. That's in the past, we're here now. Lets just put forth our best effort and trust the process."
"Yeah, I hear you Embiid, but your process is taking forever man. Been doing this for years and still don't have a Eastern Conference championship to show for it at the least."
"These things take time and I--" Joel gets interrupted by Recks, quickly fed up with the given excuse."
"Nah man, these fans deserve better. No more "trusting the process", we gonna "finish the process", starting tonight."
Joel looks around, nodding his head. "You that confident?"
"Confident? I have to be. Fear almost took everything from me. But fear didn't make me 2-time All-American. Fear won't stop me from achieving my dream any longer, and my dream is not with the Sixers. We get a ring."
"Bold statements, but I like it." Joel continue to nod, giving dap to Recks. "You're alright rook, we going to see how you going to finish this process." Joel expressed from departing from the conversation.
"Oh yes we will my man, yes we will..."
Recks was just about ready to hit the court for shootarounds before tip-off. He goes into his brand new duffle bag, a gift from Khyri. He was told not to open it under tip-off game night, and there was no better time than to open the bag now. Upon zipping down the duffle, a pair of blue, red, and white Kobe XI were revealed. On the midsole, a scribble that read, "Khyri B1u" with a heart. Along with the shoes, was a note from Khyri stating, "be the champion I know you can be. I'll be watching."
"She knows I hate low tops, but this is awesome." Recks stated to him-self. After donning his fresh pair of Kobe XI, Recks was ready. Recks was moments away from a new beginning. "Thank you Kairos, for believing in me. Thank you Khyri for being there for me. I won't fail you guys..."
