Patriots outlast Chargers, Rivers for 41-20 win to claim top seed in the AFC
New England was down to one healthy running back. They couldn't stop Joey Bosa, as shown by his 6.5 sacks despite doubling him most of the game. The receivers weren't getting any separation down the field.

Somehow, someway, they found a way.

The offense opened up in the fourth quarter with some help from the defense as New England scored seventeen unanswered points to put Los Angeles away in the 41-20 win on Sunday night.

The Patriots had been out west for the past seventeen days due to their schedule, having played Seattle last week. They seemed sluggish in the beginning of the game, specifically their defense.

They then tightened up, shutting the Chargers offense down in the second half and allowing just three points after halftime. They also intercepted Philip Rivers four times with the fourth one being intercepted by newly signed safety/linebacker Su'a Cravens.

Cravens, a Los Angeles native, was playing in front of his home crowd after his football career appeared to be over. Cravens young NFL career has been filled with controversies, retirements, concussions and unhappiness. Cravens was signed on Tuesday and recorded three tackles as he replaced the injured Isaiah Simmons on third downs as a sub package linebacker.

New England, Brady keep on trucking with 37-25 win vs. Cardinals
Tom Brady came off the field fuming and angry after a miscommunication with N'Keal Harry led to his second interception of the day. It was a similar miscommunication with Henry Ruggs III that resulted in his first interception.

"They're learning," said Brady of his young receiving corps, "I'm learning still so we're all in that same boat, doesn't matter the age or level of experience."

On the next drive, Brady went to Harry for a gain of seventeen and then went to Ruggs down the field for a gain of 44 before Brady got into the endzone on a quarterback sneak as New England went on to the beat the Arizona Cardinals, 37-25.

Obi Melifonwu had a similar redemption story after he was called for pass interference late in the fourth quarter. On the next play, Melifonwu stripped Murray and returned it for a touchdown.

Melifonwu had seven tackles on the game

Brady throws 425 yards, 4 TDs in drubbing of Jets on Monday night
A struggling offensive line. Two running backs that weren't on NFL rosters to start the season. Whispers of him slowing down due to league-leading thirteen interceptions.

Brady then went across the middle to big body receiver N'Keal Harry for the ten-yard score.
