Buffalo Gains Two Commitments On Senior Night
Brian Dohn -- 247 Sports Buffalo Insider

After a week in which Buffalo saw their quarterback suffer several sacks, Buffalo gained two commits on the offensive line. This was the last weekend for visits for Buffalo and they made an impression on two recruits and gained their commitment following the weekend.

Center Tyree Grubbs [C# 55], a 3-star recruit from Lancaster, PA, and Tackle Nick Sun [RT #88], 3-star from Flushing, MI, both committed to Buffalo following the big win against Akron. However, Sun’s official visit had occurred in week 8.

CB Josh Iosivas [CB #51] and QB Eric Emanuel [QB #88] also made visits during the game against Akron. Both players only have a scholarship offer from Buffalo. Making it very likely we see them give a commitment to Buffalo before the season is over. Iosivas is Buffalo’s top target at the moment.

SS Keelan Tyree [SS #19] is also one of the top targets of Mike Harrison and the rest of his defensive staff. Tyree recently narrowed down his schools and has offers from Michigan, Kentucky, and Buffalo. As far as anyone can tell Buffalo is in the lead but two schools from the two best conferences can quickly close the gap if Buffalo doesn’t continue to give him strong interest.

Another fierce battle is for DT David Ornstein [DT #111] a 3-star recruit from Long Island City, NY. Ornstein has scholarship offers from Buffalo, UConn, Boston College, and Temple. It will be interesting to see which of these schools in the regional area lands Ornstein.
