i thought about it but then I did a quick Google search and he's said no to Madrid so saying no to liverpool felt realistic

True, Romero did say no to Real Madrid, but from what I have seen on Spurs forums, it was mostly just because Spurs guaranteed him captain and a higher wage when Son left. He's staying for the world cup and then most likely leaving.. Just from what I have read in case you think of changing in the future.
