QB David Scroggins (R-Sr) | 6′3″, 226LBS | 91 OVR, 81 SPD, 82 ACC, 94 THP, 89 SAC, 88 MAC, 89 DAC‣ Since the loss to Georgia where he threw two interceptions, Scroggins has been on another level with eight straight games throwing over 300 yards and has thrown three touchdowns in seven of them, including last week against LSU. Scroggins' ability to escape pressure and make off platform throws will make him a very tough test for a Stanford defense that's been susceptible to explosive passing plays.
WR Demario Moffatt (R-Jr) | 6′2″, 193LBS | 92 OVR, 99 SPD, 93 ACC, 93 CTH, 93 CIT‣ The matchup of the night will be Demario Moffatt going up against Kentrell Marvin as two of the best players in the country at this positions. The Georgia Tech transfer has been a shot in the arm for Clemson's offense, averaging 15.6 yards per reception with a touchdown in eight straight games, failing to reach the endzone only once this season and that came against Georgia.
NB Derek Trainer (R-Sr) | 6′2″, 213LBS | 91 OVR, 94 SPD, 97 ACC, 80 MCV, 88 ZCV, 77 TKL‣ Trainer is a big, physical nickel whose equally effective in coverage as he is against the run. He's got three interceptions on the season along with seven pass breakups. Stanford's offense loves putting the slot corner in conflict with their RPO game and Trainer is the type of athlete that even when he's wrong, he can recover and make it right.
