Players To Watch

Bill Connelly, ESPN: Don't look now, but the Kent State has one of the most productive offenses in the country. No, not in the MAC. In the entire country. They aren't scoring at an incredible clip just yet, averaging 27.9 points per contest, they are led by their dynamic three-headed monster in the backfield between Jakorion Caffey, Mason King, and Donovan Delaney Jr. and will no doubt continue to follow them into battle. The Hornets on the other hand, have the fifth best rush defense in the conference (behind Ohio, Kent State themselves, Bowling Green, and Buffalo. Senior defensive tackle Miles Bailey and MIKE linebacker Alex Rocha are going to have to be at the top of their game to hang with this Kent State offense.

Experts Evaluations

Tom Fornelli, Writer: "Dru DeShields is back. The run game is running angry. This Kent State offense might not allow the team to lose another game. Sacramento State is in one hell of a free fall right now. I think this is an easy Golden Flashes victory."

Richard Johnson, Writer: "Not much to write on this one. Sacramento State is just looking to salvage enough of their season to maybe reach a bowl game, but their first season in the FBS is showing some growing pains as of recent. A red-hot Kent State is the last team they want to be seeing right now."

Chris Hummer, 247Sports Writer: "One time for my Sweet Prince Jakorion Caffey. I need another 100+ yards and a couple more touchdowns, please."
