Finish a game with 0 INT impossible challenge.

What a blunder by CU at the end of the first half there. Nice job battling back and giving BTA!
I couldn't believe it. Never had that sequence happen before. I thought about taking the points anyways after the second penalty but was like nah, at this point you gotta go for six

2026 Week Eleven Preview
Arizona State (6-3) @ UCF (6-3)
The Devil's Due Mailbag — Week Eleven Preview Image By: Emilio Suarez
Published: November 13th, 2026
The Arizona State Sun Devils ride into Acrisure Bounce House in Orlando with a three game win streak on the line and their conference championship hopes still alive and well. UCF has already lost three conference games, meaning their Big XII championship hopes are likely dashed, but sitting just outside the Top 25 they still have plenty of incentive to halt the streaking Sun Devils.

Arizona State can't afford another slip up if they intend to continue to challenge for a conference championship spot, meaning all eyes will be on Jake Fette in his second road game as the starter. With a win, and a little luck, the Sun Devils could exit the weekend with a clear path to returning to the Big XII Championship Game.

Pitchfork Points

Image Can someone stop throwing interceptions?
Jake Fette showed moxie last week, rallying after throwing three interceptions to toss five total touchdowns. You'd love to get the touchdowns again this week, hopefully without the interceptions tied to it. Controlling the turnover battle will continue to be a key stat for the Sun Devils to monitor as they continue their hopeful march towards Arlington.

Image Will AB3 haunt the Sun Devils?
Arizona State managed to bottle up Avery Johnson a few weeks ago, but prior to that running quarterbacks gave the Sun Devils defense fits. There are few better in the nation at executing that than Alonza Barnett III. AB3 is the Knights second-leading rusher with 484 yards on the ground and an additional 12 rushing touchdowns. If he's given room to gallop, the Sun Devils will be heading back to Tempe extinguished.

Image Is it time to feature one back?
The Sun Devils kept the opposition off-balance early in the season with four different backs contributing at any given time. And it blossomed. But as the season has worn on, it's become less and less effective. Kyson Brown is still explosive, but with limited touches every negative play is compounded. The novelty of four backs wears thin if one of them is being hampered by inconsistency. If they can't get Brown going, it may be worth feeding him like a workhorse to jump start his productivity.

that is one thing I do a pretty good job on is avoiding sacks. And to be honest, that's where a lot of my interceptions come from, forcing the ball instead of throwing it away or living to fight another day :pgdead:

Arizona State Brings the Boom To Orlando
33 Arizona State (7-3) @ UCF (6-4) 28 | Acrisure Bounce House | Orlando, FL.
By Emilio Suarez Image November 14th, 2026
I'm not saying that Kenny Dillingham reads 'The Devil's Due,' but I did say to get Kyson Brown more involved in the offense. Juss sayin.

Kyson Brown exploded for 196 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns as the Sun Devils withstood a hectic fourth quarter rally from the UCF Knights to run their winning streak to four games.

But before we get to the end, we must see how it began.

Another highlight from 'The Devil's Due' was controlling Alonza Barnett III's legs. On the second play of the game, AB3 dropped back to pass and linebacker Martell Hughes mirrored him. When AB3 looked to escape the pocket, Hughes materialized as if out of thin air, dropping the QB and forcing the fumble. Zac Swanson was johnny-on-the-spot, scooping up the live ball and rumbling in for the defensive touchdown before some Knights fans had found their seats.

ASU built a 14-0 first quarter lead thanks to a Kyson Brown touchdown, but then UCF rallied their troops. Jake Fette tossed back-to-back interceptions—one of which wasn't his fault, Demarcius Robinson tipped a catchable pass right to the defender—which turned into two touchdowns for the Knights. Still, Fette was able to rally a pair of field goal drives, including one in the final 48 seconds, to take a 20-14 lead into the half.

Arizona would tack on another touchdown in the third, thanks to an Ashton Stamps interception to set up Reed Harris' grab, but the fourth quarter was where the action was. Barnett led a quick scoring drive at the top of the quarter, but Fette would find Kyson Brown midway through the frame to answer right back.

Undeterred, Barnett answered right back with a slant pass to Jonathan Bibbs, who shrugged off the would-be tackler and sped 69 yards to pay dirt. Suddenly a game that ASU seemed to have in hand was a five point game with just over 4 minutes remaining.

Kenny Dillingham didn't blink. Arizona State never gave UCF the ball back, draining the final four minutes over eleven plays which included two fourth-down conversions.

Facing 4th-and-1 from the Knight's 18, Dillingham could have kicked the field goal to make it an eight point game.

Instead, he gave it to Brown one more time. Fette hit Brown in stride on an RPO swing pass and the dynamic athlete left two Knights grabbing at air as he motored 14 yards for the final conversion.

Game. Set. Match.

Arizona State moves to 7-3 on the season behind another gritty performance in the 33-28 victory.

It doesn't get any easier next week when the Oklahoma State Cowboys ride into Mountain America Stadium after sacking the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Stillwater earlier today.

HB Kyson Brown
