You gotta break Baker Mayfield in half. Caesar will comment in here if you do.

If he injures Mayfield for the season, I’ll put this chise in the HOF

He on that Dale Denton beat

Jaylen is splitting with Kaleb and Keaton so he's only getting 10 touches or so a game  is what it is

There were more impactful screens I could have use for the game post, but you'll be pleased

Pittsburgh Rides Dominant 1st Half To 13th Win

Alex Highsmith leveled Baker on the opening drive to set the tone for a bruising 1st half that only resulted in one sack, but multiple hard hits on Baker as the Bucs offense struggled to find a rhythm.

Tampa Bay, FL. - Pittsburgh inched closer to locking up the AFC’s No. 1 seed with a commanding 48–24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a scoreline that flattered the home team far more than the game itself.

Tampa Bay mustered just 97 total yards in the first half, salvaging only a late field goal thanks to a 44 yard kickoff return that finally gave them a short field. Any hint of momentum vanished almost immediately. Anthony Richardson engineered a clinical two minute drill capped by a touchdown with 20 seconds remaining, and on the ensuing kickoff, Harold Perkins Jr. scooped up a fumble and returned it to send Pittsburgh into halftime up 28–3.

Baker Mayfield settled in after a punishing first half, one official sack, several heavy hits, and managed to guide Tampa Bay to three second half touchdown drives. But each time, Pittsburgh answered in kind, never allowing the deficit to shrink to anything resembling competitive.

A late injury to Trent Brown forced the Steelers to run one final play rather than kneeling it out, resulting in a one-yard plunge by Kaleb Johnson as time expired. A brief post-play scuffle ensued, but Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles refused to make it an issue.

“We could’ve stopped them. We didn’t,” Bowles said. “Can’t get mad at them for doing their job when we didn’t do ours.”

Richardson only strengthened his MVP candidacy with another multi-dimensional performance: 233 passing yards, 51 rushing yards, and four total touchdowns.

“I don’t see how he isn’t the favorite,” Mike Tomlin said after the game. “Show me someone else impacting the game more than him. I’ll wait.”

Next week’s showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs could decide who ultimately claims the AFC’s top seed.
