As a Dane, Peter Schmeichel made me watch United, but it was Cantona, who made me a fan. What a player, and what a presence he had.
It saddens me a bit that he chose to stop at such a young age, and I wonder, what could have happened, if he had played on.
However, the great moments made by Sheringham - and Yorke arriving a year later - perhaps it all happened for the best.

His retirement was completely unexpected but yeah, I guess it opened the door for that 98/99 team. Hopefully this Arsenal will be there to stop them.
