Isidor scored a goal and this fn went straight to the game to buy him.
I stand by my statement of an easy season despite the Chelsea defeat.

Spurs go all in on defending their title with busy summer window
Since winning the Premier League title five months ago, Spurs have spent €384.2 million in signings. That total is more than the GDP of the Marshall Islands.
Spurs haven't only been buyers this summer. They've sold two key players in Guglielmo Vicario, who led the PL in clean sheets, and right-back Pedro Porro, who was the highest rated fullback on the team last year according to Sofascore. Two of last year's most successful signings, Joseph Paintsil and Elijah Adebayo, have been sold as well. Kevin Danso, who appeared in thirty-six games last season, was sent on loan to A.C. Milan. Leandro Barreiro, who played the most matches on the team last season, is back with his parent club after negotiations broke down with Spurs.
Liverpool acquired Gabriel and Alessandro Bastoni to bolster their defense in addition to the mega signing of Pep Guardiola as manager. Newcastle, who saw a dip in form after a surprise title in 2025-26, were big spenders with the acquisition of Dean Huijsen and Anatoliy Trubin. Even Nottingham Forest were big spenders with Aurelien Tchouameni signing and London rivals Crystal Palace have one of the best centre-back pairings with the signing of Alessandro Buongiorno to pair with Marc Guehi and improved their attack with Assane Diao.
Simply staying put wasn't going to be enough and the Spurs surely can't be accused of that. Victor Osimhen looks like a proper talisman in his first few appearances, already leading the Prem with six goals. With an attacking arsenal that includes the likes of Rodrygo, Mohammed Kudus and last year's leading goal scorer in Mathys Tel, few teams have the offensive firepower that Spurs possess. The defense is still in an adjustment period with new faces like Reece James and Senegal wonderkid Demba Sambou but an improved midfield with the addition of Scott McTominay should help Spurs settle into a balanced squad that is capable of not only a title defense but making a push for a Champions League trophy.
