Endrick Returns to Real Madrid in Shock €130M Move


Madrid opened the January transfer window with a bang, completing a deal for Endrick on day one.

Real Madrid have agreed a €130M transfer with Manchester United to bring 22 year old striker, Endrick, back to the club. Endrick last played for Madrid in 2025 before leaving for Lyon and eventually Manchester United. He has been one of the brightest attacking stars in the Premier League, despite the lack of success for Manchester United themselves over the last four seasons. With Madrid switching to this new 4-1-3-2 system under Bompastor, they needed a left-footed withdrawn striker to play next to Kylian Mbappe. While Ethan Mbappe has been slotting in well there the past few games, it's clear that Madrid need a proper goal scorer/creator in the position, and Endrick fits the bill perfectly.

Endrick wore #9 when he last played for Madrid, but will take up the #10 shirt this time around as Mbappe will continue to wear #9. With Michael Olise moving into a full-time winger role in the 4-1-3-2, he will shift from the #10 shirt to #7 to accommodate Endrick.

Mbappe suffered a severe injury in the Supercopa final.

Kylian Mbappe had to come off the pitch after scoring what turned out to be the winner in the Supercopa de Espana final. While going up for the headed goal, he had his arm yanked on accidentally by a Barcelona player, causing him to dislocated his shoulder while still scoring. This is a major blow to Los Blancos, as Mbappe's 27 goals in all competitions have been crucial to the side so far. Iker Bravo is expected to replace him in the starting XI in his absence, and the newly returning Endrick, will also be expected to carry some of the scoring load in his absence.
