A game that had it all. Sending-offs for both teams and a 4-1 win to the "little brother". The best way possible to win the title by beating the rival. Now, nothing against Leicester, who won the Prem in 2016, massive achievement. But they were sat in Jamie Vardy's house, watching other teams, when they were officially champions. The same achievement, but hardly the same feeling. Congratulations. Shame about the cup though.

Yeah really exciting way to win our first one! On to Man City in the CL now.

Either I can't count, or...

The most recent table states 24 games played, 12 points ahead. Then, reading around it, I can conclude those were the standings after 27 games, 12 points ahead. You beat Paris Saint-Germain in an impressive way. But that means there are 5 games to go with 15 points to play for: doesn't that mean that PSG (if only theoretically) could still catch up and beat you on goal diff?...

edit: ah, I see it now. It is, however, a little confusing this way - below the table it says "16 points clear". Okay, then the title is yours: congratz!

Sorry mate I've fixed this now. Somehow I posted the table from the end of February again instead of March. If you look now you can see I was 16pts clear before that game with 7 games left. So now after beating them im 19 pts clear with 6 games left which makes it mathematically impossible for them to win (34 games in Ligue 1).

Champions League Quarter-Final Preview

Image

Paris FC enter their biggest European night yet riding the high of clinching the Ligue 1 title, dethroning Paris Saint-Germain. Confidence is sky-high, but the question is whether a title hangover could impact their sharpness against Manchester City.

City’s 4-2-3-1 is loaded with world-class quality. Erling Haaland leads the line, supported by the creativity of Kevin De Bruyne and the pace of Jérémy Doku. The double pivot of Rodri and İlkay Gündoğan will look to control possession.

Paris FC counter with an aggressive 4-3-3. Anthony Martial anchors the attack, flanked by Luca Koleosho and Leo Poisson, while Ethan Mbappé and Mathis Amougou provide energy in midfield. Defensively, Soumaïla Coulibaly will be key in handling Haaland’s physical threat.

This is a true test of Paris FC’s rise, champions of France now looking to prove they belong among Europe’s elite.
