3-4-3 experiment, eh? Slowly moving toward the Amorim system. :troll:
Icl it was working a treat

It's all or nothing for the Paris FC side. Either you win big (4-0 and 4-1 in the two UCL wins and 6-0 vs Lens), otherwise you lose big (0-4 vs Benfica).

When things don't work, you should find a way to avoid a total collapse...
Yeah it's cause I'm stubborn about my system. Even if I'm getting cooked I won't change it midgame lol

Paris FC: End of October Update

Image
Paris FC sit top of the table and unbeaten after 10 games

Paris FC have made a stunning start to the 2026–27 campaign, sitting top of Ligue 1 with 28 points from 10 matches and still unbeaten. With 9 wins and 1 draw, they’ve established themselves as the team to beat, opening a six-point gap over Paris Saint-Germain.

The numbers underline their dominance: 30 goals scored and just 5 conceded, the best attack and defense in the league. Winger Noah Adedeji-Sternberg has led the scoring with 7 goals, while new signing Adnan Januzaj has made an immediate impact with 6 goals and 4 assists. In midfield, Maxime Lopez continues to dictate play, leading the team with 5 assists, while Obed Nkambadio has been exceptional in goal with 6 clean sheets.

Attention now turns to a defining stretch across domestic and European competitions. A trip to Liverpool FC looms large, followed by key Ligue 1 fixtures that will test their ability to maintain top spot. With momentum firmly on their side, Paris FC look every bit like genuine title contenders.

Upcoming November Fixtures
  • 11/3: @ Liverpool FC (UCL)
  • 11/8: @ Havre AC (Ligue 1)
  • 11/20: vs. Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1)
  • 11/24: vs. AEK Athens (UCL)
  • 11/28: @ AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1)

Building a nice little gap in the table there. Two loses for the big Paris club already is helpful.

Coming up is my prediction. Building that league gap a few more points.

Best attack and best defence. Most clean sheets and no losses. Things couldn't have gone better in the league. Surely some bigger clubs would come knocking for such a successful manager?

Good luck at Anfield. I think you'll win 4-1.

Honestly not feeling too confident about Anfield but we'll see. I've had a lot of trouble against top teams.

Well, I wasn't right about Anfield, but at least one of the teams scored 4 goals in the game. Seems to be a pattern there...

Tony Martial scoring against Liverpool also brings up a few fond memories...

I'm done with this wingback gimmick 4-3-3 lol. Going back to the more conservative falseback approach. It's getting me slaughtered against big teams.
