Players to Watch
QB Alex Rowe (R-Sr) | 6′4″, 228LBS | 94 OVR, 81 SPD, 80 ACC, 85 COD, 83 THP, 99 SAC, 90 MAC, 88 DAC
‣ Rowe's exit from Stanford was drama filled after leading the Cardinal to the playoffs and winning the program's only ACC Championship. Rowe transferred to Houston after Stanford moved on towards Earl Nienhuis and both led their respective teams to the playoffs where Stanford would win it all. Rowe still had a very good season at Houston and will look to improve his draft standing with a big time performance against his former team.
WR George Rees (R-Sr) | 5′10″, 190LBS | 88 OVR, 88 SPD, 88 ACC, 96 COD, 91 CTH, 80 RLS
‣ Rees was one of the best receivers in the Big XII for the last two seasons, reaching over 1,110 yards and 10+ touchdowns in consecutive seasons. He'll be matched up against a revamped secondary that returns only two starters in nickel Kentrell Marvin and safety Angel Baas.
LB Stanley Agholor (R-Sr) | 6′1″, 223LBS | 96 OVR, 90 SPD, 96 ACC, 99 PRC, 81 TKL, 72 BSH, 84 MCV, 89 ZCV
‣ The heart and soul of the Cougars' defense has been Agholor who is a fourth-year starter. He's a sideline to sideline tackling machine that will be tasked with slowing down a Stanford running game that once it gets going is downright lethal. He'll also need to patrol the middle of the field, an area where Stanford's passing game thrives off.
Hard Rock Bet™
Spread: Stanford -25.5
Moneyline: Houston +1000
Over: 60.5
Place your bets and I'll keep track of your winnings/loss throughout the season. The winner's (by percentage with a minimum of 16 bets placed) team of choice will get a rating's bump and choose which conference to be the commissioner of for the following season to select my schedule. The second place will have second choice on which conference and so forth for third and fourth place.

That's a whole lotta points for Week 1 against a ranked team. Going to take Houston +25.5 and the under (I'm prepared to eat my words to start the season).

Alex Rowe the RPO god with that 99 short accuracy. I think the Cardinal open the season with a statement and smack the Cougars. Give me Stanford -25.5 and the over.
