Better hope you avoid injuries if the drop off is that bad. Cheese still doing it but how is Auburn 1-1 going into week 5? That's a messed up start to the season for them.

Yeah, that secondary has really fall apart behind our number one corner, Jamerson Cotton. Our pass rush has taken a step back, which always shielded our weaker secondary because we would just jump the QB and eliminate the run game. Not really a thing this year. Definitely a step back as a whole.ShireNiner wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 09:55Better hope you avoid injuries if the drop off is that bad. Cheese still doing it but how is Auburn 1-1 going into week 5? My brother in Christ. How you give up 4 TDs in the fourth quarter? You know you can run the clock, right?

SMU Lands Four-Star WR D’Andre Griggs, Eyes No. 2 Overall QB Alex Keyton
By Cheryl Smith
DALLAS -- SMU's recruiting momentum continued this week as the Mustangs secured a commitment from four-star wide receiver D'Andre Griggs, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound playmaker out of Denton, Texas.
Griggs made his decision after taking his official visit during SMU's statement win over rival TCU, a trip that sources say "sealed it" as he watched the Mustangs' high-tempo offense and deep receiver rotation in action.
He chose SMU over Oklahoma and Texas, citing the program's track record of developing young receivers and getting them on the field earlier, pointing specifically to the rapid emergence of players like Kenyon Natson and Bobby Goodspeed, both players looking to take over as the heir apparent to senior wide receiver Marquis Avant.
Griggs brings a physical, possession-style element to SMU's future receiver room - a willing blocker with strong hands and after-contract toughness - a profile that complements the Mustangs' existing speed-heavy pipeline. He joins Natson and currently-redshirted freshman Hayden Presley as the receiver room of the future.
SMU's class could take a massive leap if it closes on five-star quarterback Alex Keyton, the number two overall player in the country, where the Mustangs are widely viewed as the current leader over Arkansas and Florida. Keyton is expected to begin scheduling official visits in the coming weeks, with SMU pushing to get the final trip before his decision. The allure of becoming the heir apparent to reigning Heisman winner Alonzo Cheeseman is a big incentive for Keyton.
The Mustangs did take one loss on the trail, missing out on four-star offensive guard Finau Yanda, who opted to commit to Oklahoma. A stark reminder that SMU can still lose, and that they will need to bear down to produce yet anoter star-studded class.
