‣ NFL 2027 Regular Season, Week 18 - Caesar Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana
(12-5) Tennessee Titans at New Orleans Saints (10-7)
TEN | 7 | 0 | 3 | 7 | 17
NO | 14 | 17 | 0 | 7 | 38

Saints easily take care of Titans in regular season finale as Justin Jefferson breaks NFL record
The game ended for the Tennessee Titans just as it began with a turnover on a key down as Cam Ward's pass to Justin Jefferson was intercepted and returned for a touchdown, proving to be the last day for Tennessee's starters as they loss 38-17 to New Orleans in a game that was never competitive.
The Titans' first drive of the game ended with a fumble on third down and three plays later, the Saints would convert a third and two with a 49-yard run by Rashid Shaheed where he broke through multiple tackles for the score. It would be a banner day for the Saints' offense which scored thirty-one points in the first half.
On the drive prior to the Ward interception, he had connected with Jefferson on seven consecutive plays, breaking the NFL single-season record for most receiving yards in the process in his home state of Louisiana where he stared for LSU before Kool-Aid McKinstry jumped the endzone pass and ended Ward's night as the Titans would pull their starters afterward.
Jefferson became the first NFL receiver to eclipse 2,000 yards, finishing the year with 123 receptions for 2,039 yards and sixteen touchdowns in his first season with Tennessee.
It was a tough day for the Titans offensive line as they entered the game already down two left tackles and rookie Malik Agbo left with an injury midway through the second quarter. Replacement Trevyon Green allowed two sacks and was called for several holding calls before being replaced by right tackle J.C. Latham who would be called for a critical holding penalty of his own on that final Ward drive which negated a touchdown.
