QB Ray Padrino (R-Soph) | 5′11", 188LBS | 80 OVR, 82 SPD, 87 ACC, 87 THP, 82 SAC, 74 MAC, 70 DAC‣ Padrino could very well be playing for his job as TCU has a high profile true freshman backup in Russell Burks who was a four-star and a local kid. The undersized Padrino has had some bright spots with four touchdowns against Tarleton and Colorado but also threw five picks in the loss to Texas Tech and was than stellar against Houston, unable to keep up with Alex Rowe in that fourth quarter. He is a limited athlete who doesn't have the arm to challenge Stanford's secondary deep, which is their weakness.
EDGE Jorge Saucedo (R-Sr) | 6′4", 246LBS | 84 OVR, 84 SPD, 85 ACC, 87 STR, 93 PMV, 83 FMV, 77 BSH‣ The production isn't always there but Saucedo, especially this season with just two sacks but he's a disruptive power rusher that could be lined up against a first-time starter at Stanford is down two left tackles. He is stout enough against the run to be able to collapse inside and disrupt Stanford's inside running game, the staple of the offense and can easily track down Earl Niehuis when he does escape from the pocket.
LB Channing Clinton (Sr) | 6′0", 221LBS | 90 OVR, 85 SPD, 94 ACC, 90 TKL, 83 BSH, 75 MCV, 87 ZCV‣ The only way TCU wins this game is by turning it into a rock fight and in order to do that, they need to stop Stanford's rushing offense from delivering knockout blows. Clinton is a rangy linebacker that plays bigger than his listed weight with his physicality. He's been really good in coverage this season as well and will be pivotal in taking away those in cutting routes that Stanford loves to hit.
