whenever I have a 1st half like that, I'm always worried the rubber band AI is going to give the CPU an equally big one

Trent Brown Out For Season & Potentially Longer

Image

Pittsburgh, PA. -When Trent Brown exited the Steelers’ Week 16 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the veteran tackle feared he might miss the remainder of the regular season and possibly the playoffs. The reality, however, is far more severe.

Brown has been diagnosed with a lumbar vertebrae fracture, an injury that not only ends his season but has him reassessing his football future entirely. The initial recovery timeline is close to a full calendar year, and any complications could extend the process to as long as 55 weeks. By the time he’s physically ready to return, Brown will be approaching 36 years old and nearly 18 months removed from his last snap. The harsh reality has him considering retirement according to sources, but for Pittsburgh HC Mike Tomlin his health and well being is the most pressing concern.

“It’s a significant vertebrae fracture. He’s going to need surgery,” head coach Mike Tomlin said. “Right now our only focus is on getting him healthy. We’ll figure out the football part later.”

With Brown sidelined indefinitely, Pittsburgh will turn back to former first round pick Broderick Jones. Jones started at left tackle last season but moved into a reserve role after Brown’s arrival in the offseason. Now, he steps back into the lineup as the Steelers push toward the postseason.

it popped up as career ending during the game, so I'm assuming he's going to retire at the end of the season

tough break but we move in his honor :melo2:
