The All-Big Ten teams were announced this week with Kansas surprisingly placing four players on the First-Team and five players on the Second Team. One of our AD goals this season was to have 2+ players make All-Conference this season. Not sure how I did not achieve that goal with nine players on this list.

The 2026 offseason coaching carousel has begun just as bowl season is getting underway. Six Big Ten schools have already made some early coaching moves. Ball State fired both coordinators, Illinois fired head football coach Bret Bielema, and their OC. Kansas State offensive coordinator Jordan Peterson has taken a job in the NFL. Minnesota has fired head coach P.J. Fleck. Missouri State has fired defensive coordinator Jack Curtis, and Purdue has cleaned house, firing their head coach and both coordinators.

Kansas Head Coach BigJDotCom has had a few offers, but says that he plans on staying at Kansas after the season that they just had. UTEP and Louisiana Tech have Coach BigJ at the top of their wishlist at head coach. Kansas State and Rice both have Coach BigJ as their number one choice as offensive coordinator, and SMU and Purdue have Coach BigJ as their number one choice as defensive coordinator.

The College Football Playoff got underway this week with the road teams winning two of the four games. #12 LSU went on the road and beat #5 Oregon 31-28 in Autzen Stadium. #10 Miami traveled out went and beat undefeated and seventh-ranked BYU 20-17. #6 USC and #8 Indiana both won at home to advance.

The Quarterfinals are all set with #1 Missouri taking on #8 Indiana in the Rose Bowl, #2 Oklahoma facing #10 Miami in the Peach Bowl, #3 Notre Dame taking on #6 USC in the Fiesta Bowl, and #4 Boise State facing #12 LSU in the Cotton Bowl.
