Raiders Re-sign Two, Let Several Players Walk as Free Agency Opens



Safety/linebacker Su'a Cravens was re-signed to a two year deal worth $4.24M.
Wide receiver David Sills V signed for a year at $550k.

The Raiders have announced they will not renew contracts with the following players, allowing them to become free agents.

Raiders Sign LB Blake Martinez



The Raiders emptied out their linebacker room, letting five players at the position walk in free agency. They've made their first move toward replenishing the position by signing former Packer Blake Martinez.

Martinez signed a three year contract that could be worth up to $10.2M.

The Beast is Back, Raiders to bring back Lynch



The Raiders were apparently unhappy with their runningback depth behind rookie Josh Jacobs and have agreed to a one year, incentive laden deal with Marshawn Lynch. Lynch's contract could be worth up to just under three million if he hits bonus triggers for carries, yards and touchdowns.

Prater, Raiders agree to contract



2019 was an up and down year for Daniel Carlson and the Raiders front office elected not to offer him a contract extension. Matt Prater was the NFC representative in the Pro Bowl and could not come to terms with the Lions on an extension. Prater and the Raiders have reportedly come to terms on a one year deal worth roughly $3.5M. The Raiders will be Prater's fourth team after starting his career in Denver and Atlanta.

Raiders add edge rusher Vic Beasley



After letting their primary edge rusher from 2019 Dion Jordan walk the Raiders were in the market for a replacement. They've signed former Falcon Vic Beasley to a one year deal reportedly worth around three million dollars. Dion Jordan said he and the team have not ruled out a return.

Raiders nab Foles



Derek Carr missed two games last season and the team found themselves with Mike Glennon and Nathan Peterman as their options. Glennon and Peterman were not re-signed.

Nick Foles and the team came to terms on an incentive heavy one year contract worth up to seven million if Foles hits bonus triggers.

Foles had originally been looking for a starting job but felt those options were not a good pick

The Raiders reportedly met with Ryan Tannehill, Marcus Mariota and Nick Mullens but were adamant that Foles was their first choice.

Sources close to the team indicate that Peterman may eventually be re-signed.

Hill heads west



Former Saints and Broncos utility player Taysom Hill has signed on with the Las Vegas Raiders, inking a one year deal worth $2.75M. Hill is expected to compete for a backup QB role while also being deployed in a number of ways.

"We're really excited at some of the things he can do and the ways we think we can use him out there." Raiders' head coach Jon Gruden exclaimed after the signing was announced.

The Raiders have signed former Redskins receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr. The contract reportedly is for one year and $550k.

Source says Raiders are "enamored" with Isaiah Simmons, could trade up



Isaiah Simmons is the hybrid linebacker/safety that defensive coordinators dream about. Las Vegas Raiders DC Paul Guenther is apparently no exception. A source close to the team's front office indicates that Guenther is campaigning for the Raiders to try and take Simmons with one of their first round picks (#12 and #13) but fears he may not still be there if the team isn't aggressive, potentially trading up. Las Vegas has those two first round picks but does not have a second round pick, leading some to believe they may trade down to get more picks and miss out on Simmons.

Simmons recorded 148 solo tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks and four interceptions while at Clemson.
