Looks like you at least have a good QB.
yeah he looks decent, his 2026 stats are a bit intimidating tbqh, i've thrown more picks than that in one game
i have two other qbs right on his heels in OVR. their mix of individual ratings is a bit odd. could possibly end up using all three of them a significant amount, we'll see

Coming off such a good year I feel like you have to let him have the starting job at the beginning.

Yeah, agreed. Even with the coaching change. The transfer had pretty good numbers too. Other guy didn’t play. I don’t like to put ratings in chises but I may post there’s since the combinations are so odd.

Yeah there are definitely going to be some growing pains on defense. I have not played a single snap of defense this game

AMERICAN CONFERENCE GAMES TO WATCH
Army vs. Navy | Saturday December 4th 2027 | 3:00PM | Philadelphia, PA
Why: The pageantry, tradition, and emotion of this matchup make it a must-watch every year, regardless of records.
This season adds a new layer:
Army brings a quietly strong defense (#3 LB) and solid line play.
Navy counters with elite coverage (#1 DB) and one of the nation’s most physical run schemes.
Expect a classic, bruising contest that could be lower scoring, but high in tension.
Memphis vs. Tulane | Saturday October 2nd 2027 | 2:30PM | New Orleans, LA
Why: The defending powers of the AAC collide again.
Memphis dominates the trenches (#1 OL, #1 DL), while Tulane is the more athletic, adaptable team.
Semonza vs. Maiden might be the best QB duel in the league this season.
Florida Atlantic vs. North Texas | Saturday November 13th 2027 | 3:15PM | Boca Raton, FL
Why: Two of the top teams in the conference square off in a matchup that could decide AAC Championship positioning.
FAU’s explosiveness meets North Texas’ trench dominance (#2 OL, #3 DL).
Expect a physical, high-stakes clash between two balanced, veteran rosters.
USF at Charlotte | Saturday October 2nd 2027 | 8:00PM | Charlotte, NC
Why: An early season Saturday night conference opener featuring the debut of one of the most intriguing coaching staffs in the nation.
Under the lights in Charlotte, all eyes will be on USF’s new-look offense and high-profile coaching staff.
Charlotte’s balanced roster (#4 RB, #5 DL) makes this a legitimate test, and a measuring stick for how far Porter’s Bulls have come in one offseason.
Rice vs. Florida Atlantic | Saturday November 20th 2027 | 2:15PM | Boca Raton, FL
Why: A matchup between the league’s most physical team (Rice) and its flashiest (FAU).
Rice has the #1 special teams and underrated playmakers, while FAU can score from anywhere.
A great late season test for both teams’ playoff aspirations.
Tulane vs. Navy | Saturday October 9th 2027 | 2:30PM | New Orleans, LA
Why: Contrasting styles define this one.
Tulane’s tempo-based offense will face Navy’s disciplined, opportunistic defense.
Navy’s secondary (#1 DB) could be the one unit capable of slowing Semonza down.
North Texas vs. Rice | Saturday September 25th 2027 | 8:00PM | Denton, TX
Why: Two of the most fundamentally sound programs in the league.
North Texas’ elite line play (#2 OL, #3 DL) battles Rice’s efficient, balanced approach.
This one could have major bowl positioning implications.
UTSA vs. Tulane | Saturday November 13th, 2027 | 2:15PM | San Antonio, TX
Why: Strength vs. strength.
UTSA’s power spine (#1 TE, #2 LB) goes head-to-head with Tulane’s speed and balance.
Expect a close, strategic battle that could swing the conference race late.

Heisman Watch (2027 Preseason)
Arch Manning, QB Texas | SR (RS) | 6'4" 225 lbs | New Orleans, LA
2026: 213/291 (73%) – 2,624 Yds, 27 TD, 5 INT | 176.1 Rating | 262.4 YPG
Why: The face of college football enters his final season leading the nation’s top-ranked team. Manning’s pinpoint accuracy and command of the Texas offense make him the early favorite for the Heisman Trophy.
Julian Sayin, QB Ohio State | SR | 6'1" 208 lbs | Carlsbad, CA
2026: 277/460 (60%) – 3,686 Yds, 35 TD, 4 INT | 150.8 Rating | 283.5 YPG
Why: Sayin has produced back-to-back elite seasons for the Buckeyes. With one of the most explosive passing attacks in the Big Ten, he’s poised to challenge for the top spot if Ohio State makes another playoff push.
Micah Hudson, WR Texas Tech | JR | 6'0" 201 lbs | Temple, TX
2026: 68 Rec, 987 Yds, 6 TD | 14.5 Avg | 61.7 YPG
Why: The most dangerous wideout in the Big 12, Hudson combines route precision with game-breaking speed. If Texas Tech’s offense clicks, he could become the Red Raiders’ first receiver to hoist the Heisman.
Dallas Wilson, WR Florida | JR | 6'3" 213 lbs | Tampa, FL
2026: 62 Rec, 978 Yds, 9 TD | 15.8 Avg | 69.9 YPG
Why: A homegrown star for the Gators, Wilson’s blend of size and burst makes him a mismatch nightmare. With Florida projected to contend for the SEC East, he’ll have plenty of chances to showcase his playmaking.
Quincy Porter, WR Ohio State | JR | 6'4" 213 lbs | Oradell, NJ
2026: 23 Rec, 344 Yds, 5 TD | 15.0 Avg | 26.5 YPG
