That pass rush feasted in that one. Almost let Cleveland and Drew Allar do you in, which is diabolical.

Playoff time :blessed:

Titans head coach Brian Callahan has been placed on administrative leave
Despite being on a bye this week after clinching the top seed in the AFC, the Tennessee Titans have managed to be the NFL's top story. As first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rappaport, the Titans have placed head coach Brian Callahan on administrative leave with no return date set.

The organization would later confirm those reports with an official statement that read:

The Tennessee Titans have placed Head Coach Brian Callahan on administrative leave, effective immediately. At this time, we will not be sharing further details. The organization is addressing the matter internally and will provide updates only when appropriate.

In the interim, Safety Coach Steve Jackson will assume responsibilities as the team’s Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the postseason preparation. Coach Jackson is a respected leader within our building, and we have full confidence in his ability to guide our team moving forward.

Our focus remains on supporting our players and staff as we continue our pursuit of a successful playoff run.

The statement, along with Rappaport's reporting, suggests that this stemmed from an internal matter and there doesn't appear to be a criminal aspect to it, which has been the case in previous instances on coaches being placed on administrative leave. It's an unprecedented move for a team that is a mere ten days away from hosting a playoff game. In three seasons with the team, Callahan has gone 20-31 with thirteen of those wins coming this year.

Jackson has a long history with the franchise, having played for the Oilers/Titans before returning as a coach last season. He was a player for the franchise from 1991-1999 and was part of the team that played in Super Bowl XXXIV. He has also held coaching positions with the Buffalo Bills, Washington Commanders, and Detroit Lions.
