He can't keep getting away with this! Barely survived, don't pull a Red Sox and lose the championship now.

you saw me in the CB, I was sweating bullets. Thought he had me right where he wanted me

between that and sweating bullets, lost five pounds playing the game

DUB IS A DUB

its the only reason I was running up the score in the 3rd quarter. I knew Mahomes was coming (AYO if necessary)
thats what chising is all about

Thanks bro! After giving up the win in Week 17 definitely got PTSD when they started to rallyYaBoyRobRoy wrote: ↑02 Dec 2025, 15:50what a shootout!!!! Nice job hanging on to the dub, Good luck in the SB!

Richardson Secures 2026 MVP In Landslide Victory

Atlanta, GA. - Four days before they take the field in Super Bowl LXI, the Steelers stepped out of the intensity of game prep and into the glow of spotlights at the league’s annual awards ceremony. What awaited them wasn’t just recognition. It was a validation of one of the most surprising and complete turnarounds in recent NFL memory.
At the center of it all stood Anthony Richardson, the quarterback many once viewed as a developmental project, then a trade risk, then a question mark. On Thursday night, he became something else entirely: a unanimous MVP.
And not just any unanimous MVP, only the third in league history joining Tom Brady and Lamar Jackson. Richardson’s presence on that list may have felt unimaginable a year ago. Now, it feels inevitable.
“It’s been a whirlwind year,” Richardson said, pausing as the crowd rose to applaud him. “I believed in myself from the beginning… but I don’t know that anyone had me on this stage when the Steelers traded for me. Going from fighting for my job in Indianapolis to getting a second chance in Pittsburgh? It’s been a ride. But we’re not done. I want another trophy to go with this.”
Richardson’s numbers, even in an era of inflated offense, remain jaw-dropping:
• 4,201 passing yards (5th in the NFL)
• 39 passing touchdowns (2nd in the NFL)
• 1,527 rushing yards, an NFL record for a quarterback (3rd in the NFL)
• 17 rushing touchdowns (1st in the NFL)
• 56 total touchdowns, tying Peyton Manning’s legendary 2013 season
It wasn’t just production , it was transformation. Former offensive coordinator Matt Canada once described Pittsburgh's attack as “pragmatic.” This year, with Richardson under center and Brian Daboll calling plays, it became something closer to volcanic. His blend of power, speed, and vertical aggression turned the Steelers into one of the most unpredictable offenses in the league.
“He changed the geometry of the field,” said head coach Mike Tomlin. “We knew what he could be. I don’t think any of us expected him to get there this fast.”
Tomlin had his own moment Thursday, claiming AP Coach of the Year after steering Pittsburgh from preseason uncertainty to AFC supremacy.
Edge rusher Alex Highsmith rounded out Pittsburgh’s decorated evening, taking home AFC Defensive Player of the Year. While T.J. Watt remained the franchise’s headliner, Highsmith delivered a breakout campaign that turned the Steelers’ pass rush into a two-headed nightmare. His award, teammates said, was long overdue.
The Steelers left the ceremony with hardware, applause, and a brief respite from the pressure of the week. But inside the team hotel, the message was unchanged: awards are nice; championships are better.
For Richardson, it’s a reminder of where this improbable season began, not with a viral run or a highlight deep ball, but with a trade few understood at the time.
Now Pittsburgh has its answer.
And on Sunday, Richardson and the Steelers will try to finish the story the only way that matters.
With one more trophy.
