DELAWARE MAULS JACKSONVILLE STATE 48-11
Hens move to 7-0 on the season

Saturday October 10, 2026 | Burgess–Snow Field at AmFirst Stadium - Jacksonville, Alabama | 7:30 PM
Jacksonville, Alabama - The Delaware Blue Hens showed no signs of slowing down Saturday night, unleashing a dominant performance on both sides of the ball to dismantle Jacksonville State 48–11 and remain unbeaten on the season.
Quarterback Mason Kelsay orchestrated another efficient outing, throwing for 227 yards and two touchdowns while adding 101 yards and two more scores on the ground. His dual-threat command set the tone for a Delaware offense that racked up 511 total yards and found the end zone seven times.
Running back Darrion Dupree continued his breakout campaign, rushing 20 times for 128 yards and two scores, including a bruising 1-yard touchdown to open the scoring in the first quarter. Delaware would never trail, scoring 27 points by halftime while keeping Jacksonville State out of the endzone.
Jacksonville State managed just 5 total rushing yards on the night and didn’t find the end zone until midway through the third quarter, when Jack Moran connected with Alex Moore for a 16-yard touchdown and successful two-point conversion. By then, the damage had been done.
Delaware poured it on late with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, a Luke Brown 9-yard burst and a 39-yard strike to Thomas Amankwaa, who finished with six catches for 102 yards.
Defensively, linebacker Collin Gill led the team with 7 tackles while Kingsley Royal snagged an interception to halt a Gamecocks drive. Defensive tackle Francis Brewu was a disruptive force, tallying two tackles for loss and a sack.
With the win, the Blue Hens improve to 7–0 and continue to make their case as one of the top emerging programs in the nation.
