Ah yes, Simulation Sports. I remember now. I kind of also remember a Virtual Sports Network maybe? a SportsGamer? I feel like we had to migrate over a few times and I got lost along the way at some point. Just found this place last week, and I'm glad I did.Soapy wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025, 10:04no dickride but his Tennessee chise and Deegeezy's Tulane is what inspired me to do the detailed recruiting i started doing in strength in unity
I thought it was on Operation Sports and then you brought it over to Simulation Sports, the predecessor to this site which is no longer there.
why stop at Biletnikoff?
Yes sir. It's the only one I've done in about a decade before this.
Yes sir, back in the day.
Trying to create new standards with this one.Captain Canada wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025, 16:49I remember seeing it on Operation Sports if I remember correctly. Dude is a killer when it comes to the chise game fr.
Thank you! I wanted to create a live world and get started, but I think I'm gonna take the first bit on the slow side as I fill in the details, and create a more in-depth world.YaBoyRobRoy wrote: ↑18 Nov 2025, 16:58Toy Soldier is a goat with the gfx, I remember following along on Operation Sports as well. Buckeyes Open at No. 3 in AP Poll, No. 1 in Coaches Poll

Tom JacobsAugust 11, 2025

Columbus, Ohio -- Ohio State will begin its national title defense with the unusual distinction of being ranked No. 3 in the preseason AP Top 25, while simultaneously sitting at No. 1 in the preseason Coaches Poll released last week. The split outlook highlights both the respect the Buckeyes command nationally and the uncertainty that still surrounds the team heading into the 2025 season.
In the AP poll announced Monday, Texas debuted at No. 1 with 48 first-place votes, followed by Penn State at No. 2 with 15. Ohio State received three first-place votes and finished just behind Penn State overall, collecting 1,473 points to the Nittany Lions’ 1,492. Rounding out the top five were Georgia at No. 4 and Notre Dame at No. 5.
The Coaches Poll painted a different picture, placing Ohio State at the very top ahead of Texas and Penn State. The Buckeyes were voted No. 1 despite not having named a starting quarterback, a sign of how highly coaches regard the rest of the roster, led by star wideout Jeremiah Smith, All-American safety Caleb Downs, and proven tight end Max Klare.
For Ryan Day’s program, which lost 14 players to the 2025 NFL Draft and is working in two new coordinators, the recognition affirms that Ohio State is still viewed as one of the country’s most stable and talent-rich teams.
The AP rankings also set the stage for one of the most challenging schedules in the nation. Ohio State opens with top-ranked Texas on Aug. 30, a matchup that now pits the preseason Coaches Poll No. 1 team against the AP Poll No. 1. The Longhorns are led by Heisman front-runner Arch Manning and a defense returning multiple potential first-round picks.
Penn State, which Ohio State hosts on Oct. 25, enters the year with the highest expectations of the James Franklin era. Ranked No. 2, the Nittany Lions return quarterback Drew Allar for his senior season and bring back an elite core that includes running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen, defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton, and guard Olaivavega Ioane.
Illinois, ranked No. 10 in the AP poll, looms as a dangerous Big Ten road matchup on Oct. 11. Behind third-year starting quarterback Luke Altmyer and a veteran defense, the Illini are expected to have their best team in a decade and could provide one of the Buckeyes’ toughest conference tests.
Michigan enters at No. 14, a testament to the quality of the finish the Wolverines pulled off last season. The Wolverines will turn to true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood while leaning on a veteran defense loaded with future NFL players.
Despite the national recognition, Ohio State still must resolve its biggest question: the quarterback battle between sophomore Julian Sayin and third-year signal-caller Lincoln Kienholz. Day has not indicated when a starter will be named, and both players are expected to continue rotating reps well into fall camp.
The Buckeyes may not be unanimous preseason favorites, but the message from voters, and especially from coaches, is clear: Ohio State remains firmly in the national championship conversation. The challenge now is living up to it.

The disrespect putting Texas and Penn State ahead of you from the jump. Gotta correct that right off rip against the Longhorns.

Ohio state will always have the talent. The question is only about Ryan Day and the play calling in big games.
