love seeing some NHL chises. Wings are a fun team now that the Yzer-plan is almost complete after all these years of rebuilding.

I do not know how they are in real life but the roster has been built very balanced. Defense is a little old, but plenty of experience and talented youth throughout the squad.

Sid still tearing it up after all these years.

Interesting that Talbot is playing better for you than Gibson. Still a pretty good start to the season though

Gibson had a good start but is in a bit of a poor run right now.

Bruins were extremely tough to play (next update). Right now the sim is saving me a bit which has been nice.

Detroit, MI -Off nights happen in sports, and on Saturday, it was the Red Wings' chance to be off as the Boston Bruins came to the Little Caesars Arena and had their way with the home team in a 6-1 rout. The loss was the most lopsided defeat for Detroit all season on the scoreboard and the statistics, being outshot 36-19 to go along with the five-goal difference.

The Red Wings were able to brush the defeat off quickly with a fortunate road trip to give themselves a breather from the embarrassment. Going to New York, Detroit came back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 behind Lucas Raymond's two third-period goals.

From there, it was back to Detroit, ready to give the home fans a better effort after the Boston game. This time it was a thrilling 7-goal game with all seven goals coming in the first period, capped off by Emmit Finnie scoring with two seconds left on the clock to give the Red Wings a 4-3 advantage that held for the next two frames.

Detroit finished the week with another home win, this time going ahead early and hanging on against struggling Columbus. Detroit went up 5-1, allowing two late goals in the win.
