We see a long Black Limo arrive in the Parking garage. The Driver gets out and opens the back door. Triple H steps out all smiles. He helps his Wife, Stephanie McMahon out. Batista and Randy Orton follow suit.

Fireworks go off and it's time for SMACKDOWN!! We're just 17 days away from Extreme Rules!!



Fans boo as The Authority walks out smiling to the WWE Universe. Triple H and Stephanie walk hand in hand as Orton and Batista follow in their suits. The Authority climb into the ring as Triple H is given a microphone.

H: "Best for business. Best for business. You know San Antonio, Texas, we in The Authority know what's best for business. And it seems like we've forgotten that these past 2 weeks since WrestleMania. But let me assure you, that The Authority are still in firm control of the WWE. (Fans boo) and that brings me too why we're out here. You see tonight, myself and my lovely Wife Stephanie well, we feel like we need to address everyone and remind you all why you should never challenge authority. Think about it, you people here in San Antonio, what happens when you go to work tomorrow and your Boss tells you to do something. Do you do it? You damn right you do. Why? Because you value your jobs. You have mouths to feed at home. You have bills to pay. You do what you're told, that's life. If your Boss told you to get on your knees and kiss their ass, oh you would do that too. (Fans boo louder) Boo all you want, but this is exactly the cold hard truth. You see, no one disrespects the Authority. Think about it, if you disobey the Authority at your job, you get fired. Same thing here."

Stephanie raises the mic.

Steph: "That's right. and that's exactly why starting tonight, we will remind each and everyone of you here in San Antonio and our WWE Roster in the back why you should never challenge us. Starting tonight, we, The Authority will show each and everyone of you in the back what happens if you try to challenge authority."



Fans pop loud as the Best in the World makes his way down to the ring holding up his own microphone. The Authority don't look to amused to see him out here. Punk walks over to the announce desk shaking Kings and Cole's hand as he stands on top of the announce table.

He smirks over at Triple H and Stephanie who stare back. Punk then kicks off the cover and sits on the table as fans chant "CM PUNK! CM PUNK!"

Punk smirks back and speaks. "Sorry Steph, Hunter, you know me, I hate interrupting anybody when they're talking but I couldn't help but hear you have a message for all of us in the back. So don't mind me Steph, but like I told your Husband on Monday Night, I speak for all of us back there in that locker room and everyone here in the great state of Texas (Fans cheer) that we're sick of your authority. All this talk about what's best for business, and what not when truth is Stephanie, your doofus Husband has no idea what's best for business. He doesn't, your stupid Father doesn't, and neither do you. And maybe once Randy and Dave can figure that out, they'll stop kissing your ass!"

Randy and Batista look pissed as they try to go after Punk, but Triple H stops them.

Steph steps towards the ropes to stare down Punk who is smirking back from the announce table.

Steph: "Punk. I'm actually glad you're out here. Yeah, I saw the things you said to my Husband on Monday Night. I saw the disrespect and the lack of common sense from you. Just like all these people here in San Antonio, you're going to find out what happens when you try to challenge authority Punk. And that starts tonight."

Punk laughs.

Punk: "Well thank god you're here Steph cause like I was telling the so-called King of Kings on Monday Night, I put the C.O.O to sleep at WrestleMania and nothing has changed. He came right back to work, turned his balls in for his cheap suit, and now has to ask you for permission on how to do what's best for business decisions. Well it's the same thing week after week, you come out here, throw your weight around and push people."

H: "Punk, I told you on Monday Night, you have this weird paranoia about me, my Wife, this weird whatever the hell it is. Like I said, you need to learn your place in line Punk and that starts tonight. You do not challenge authority. Or else."

Punk: "Or else? Or else what? Your bean headed Wife is right there, ask her permission first before you make any drastic decisions since she apparently has your balls in her purse. Look, I'm done talking to you Hunter. I'm still waiting for an answer on Extreme Rules. Until then, I'll talk to who really wears the pants in the Family. Stephanie McMahon."



Fans pop as World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out on the ramp with his Title around his waist. He plays to the Universe with his 'YES!" chants. Even Punk is joining in from the table.

Bryan: "You know Triple H, Stephanie, I guess Randy and Batista too. Punk makes good points. For months you guys come out here and throw your weight around. Last year at SummerSlam Triple H you robbed me of the WWE Championship. You tried to make my life miserable and call me what was it, Hunter? A B+ player? (Fans boo as Authority smirks) Then I proved you all wrong at WrestleMania when I became the new World Heavyweight Champion! YES! YES! YES!"

Orton: "Daniel Bryan you listen to me and you listen good! You hold on to that World Title, it was a fluke win at WrestleMania! Come Extreme Rules, I'm taking it back!"

Bryan: "Randy, at WrestleMania, you had your chance and you failed! Now you're looking at the new World Heavyweight Champion! YES! YES! YES! YES!"



Big E walks out on the ramp and shakes Daniel's hand. The Authority look confused on why he's out here.

H: "Are you lost? What the hell do you want?"

E: "Respect. Actually, Hunter, Punk and Daniel Bryan make some good points. You come out and you throw your weight around. Well, like Punk was saying on RAW, the locker room is starting to get tired of it. So, I'm out here tonight to challenge the Authority!"

H: "Alright enough. This is what I'm talking about. It's time to show disrespectful punks like you Big E, like you Daniel Bryan, and you Punk what happens when you challenge us. So tonight, CM Punk you want to keep running your mouth and challenging us? Tonight, you will face a DEMON. The Devil's favorite Demon himself, Kane in an Extreme Rules match. And Daniel Bryan, you will also be in an Extreme Rules match against the World's largest Athlete, the Big Show. And you Big E, since you want to come out and stick your nose where it doesn't belong, tonight you will face the Viper, Randy Orton. Good luck Gentlemen."

R-Truth VS Xavier Woods

Woods hits the Lost in the Woods and covers Truth. Truth gets his foot on the ropes. Woods argues with the Ref as Truth gets back to his feet. Truth rolls up Woods and with a handful of tights behind the Ref's back picks up the win!

Winner: R-Truth

Truth walks up the ramp smiling to himself knowing he got a little retribution here tonight. Woods looks pissed off in the ring.

Backstage we see AJ Lee walking towards the ring ready for her match. She comes face to face with Paige. A brief staredown between the Two before Paige smirks at her challenger. AJ grins back and heads for the ring.

AJ Lee VS Summer Rae

Lee has the Black Widow locked in as Summer looks like she's about to tap. Divas Champion Paige comes out on stage watching AJ. AJ notices and lets go of the hold as she stares up at Paige. During the confusion, Summer rolls up AJ for the 3 count.

Winner: Summer Rae

AJ sits in the ring with a shocked look on her face that she just lost. Paige stands on the stage smirking and shrugging her shoulders at AJ before walking away laughing to herself.

After the commercial break, AJ Lee catches up with Paige backstage.

AJ: "Paige! What are you doing? Are you trying to cost me my matches?"

Paige: "I was just out there cheering you on. You almost had Summer."

AJ: "Look Paige, I get my rematch for my Divas Championship at Extreme Rules and congratulations you beat me for it after WrestleMania. You want this whole Women's revolution thing of yours but for now we have no problems here. I'll see you at Extreme Rules. Keep my Title warm cause soon, I'll be a 3-time Divas Champion while your reign last a month."

She walks away as Paige smirks after her.

We cut to another area backstage where Big E is standing by a Pepsi Machine lifting weights. Punk approaches him drawing pops from the crowd.

Punk: "What are you doing? Are you out of your mind? Challenging authority? You got more balls than brains Big E."

E: "Look Punk, I've seen you past few months trying to stick up for the WWE locker room and all this stick it to the man crusade you're on. You're right man. Triple H, Stephanie, they're drunk with power. They push people around. I'm done standing by and watching it happen. That ends tonight."

Punk: "I get you wanna make a name for yourself here Big E but the Authority don't play around. You want to come up and play with the big boys better bring your A-game okay? Just a heads up. You see how they made Daniel Bryan's life miserable last year."

E lifts weights and nods back. "I'm not afraid."

Punk nods in return. "Now move, you're blocking my Pepsi."

Tag Team Match
The Brotherhood VS Primetime Players

Cody and Darren Young on the outside swinging hands with each other while in the ring, Goldust and Titus O'Neil roll each other up and both men have shoulders on the mat while the Referee counts the 3. Both Goldust and Titus raise their arms thinking they're the winner.

Winners: None (DRAW)

As Titus and Goldust argue with each other, the Ref explains both Men had their shoulders down. The Usos walk down to see what's going on and soon all 6 Men argue in the ring.

Jimmy: "Check it out Uce, me and Jey will take on all 4 of you alright? No more excuses, no more chances. Let's do this at Extreme Rules!"

Backstage we see Kane standing in The Authority's office. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon stare at him. A moment of tension.

Kane: "You wanted to see me?"

Steph: "Look Kane, tonight we're sending a message to everyone. You don't cross Authority. Tonight I want the Devils favorite Demon himself to destroy CM Punk. Do you understand?"

Kane laughs manically. Even making Orton and Batista step back.

H: "Kane, I don't care what dark hole you crawl out of, when you're here in our office, you listen to us. Go out there and destroy Punk. Do we make ourselves clear?"

Kane: "Yeah, I hear you Hunter. But make no mistake, I'll open the gates of hell for you. But only I can close them. And I decide when I want to."

He laughs to himself as he leaves.

Batista and Orton let out a sigh of relief as Triple H looks at them. Stephanie heads out.

Extreme Rules Match
CM Punk VS Kane

Kane grabs a Chair but Punk tackles him sending both men through the ropes hitting the hard mat below. Punk to his feet and grabs the Chair and smacks Kane hard across the head with it. Punk lays waste to the Devils favorite Demon as Triple H walks down to the ring still in his suit. Punk sees him and taunts him. Kane sits up but Punk lifts him up and nails a GTS!

Winner: CM Punk

Punk is exhausted from the match as Triple H slides in with his trusty Sledgehammer and blasts Punk in between the eyes dropping the Voice of Voiceless hard to the mat. Triple H stares down as Punk lies motionless.

H directs Kane to Chokeslam Punk. Kane delivers a Chokeslam to Punk and leaves as Triple H is given a microphone.

H kneels down over the fallen Punk. "Punk, you want to keep challenging authority? I'm going to make you regret ever opening your mouth. You and me at Extreme Rules in a No Holds Barred Match."

On the Titantron, lights go dark. Bray Wyatt appears and lights his lantern.

Wyatt: "San Antonio... We're Here.."

He blows it out as he leads the Wyatt Family out.

John Cena VS Luke Harper W/Wyatt Family

Cena and Harper throw hands, Rowan in the Sheep mask jumps on the apron and Cena throws a right hand knocking him down. Harper jumps Cena from behind but Cena battles back and lifts Harper up for the AA but Bray Wyatt jumps on the apron. Cena sets Harper down and throws a right-hand knocking Wyatt down. As Cena turns around to go after Harper, Harper drops him with a Discus Clothesline to hook the leg 1...2...3

Winner: Luke Harper

Bray climbs into the ring laughing at the fallen Cena. Bray kneels down holding his arms wide yelling "Follow!...The Buzzards!"

Backstage we see Big Show sitting his locker room when a knock is heard. He looks up and in walks Stephanie McMahon.

Show: "Steph? What are you doing here?"

Steph: "Look Show, tonight you face Daniel Bryan-

Show: "Look Steph, I'm not facing Daniel Bryan tonight okay?"

Steph: "Excuse me?"

Show: "Look Stephanie, I know the Authority is on this power trip tonight and wanting to teach people not to cross you. Look, all due respect here. I got no problem with your authority. But here's the thing, Daniel and I are friends, I want no problem here."

Stephanie nods her head like she understands.

Steph: "Okay Show, I understand."

Show: "Thank you."

Steph: "But Show if you refuse this match, consider yourself fired."

Show looks surprise as Stephanie leaves with a grin on her face.

Randy Orton VS Big E

Orton drops E with a RKO to pick up the win.

Winner: Randy Orton


Backstage we see World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan walking to the ring. He comes face to face with Big Show, Show crosses his arms and leans down to look at Bryan.

Show: "I don't like this anymore than you do ok?"

Bryan: "See you out there."

Daniel Bryan(c) VS Big Show

Bryan uses his quickness and legs to try and keep the Giant off his balance. Show picks up a Chair and acts like he's ready to hit Bryan, but he hesitates and drops the chair. Show walks around the ring shaking his head like he doesn't even want to be here. Batista and Orton come down and taunts the Big Show. Show challenges them to a fight but Orton and Batista don't move. Show exits the ring and tries to walk up the ramp, but Triple H meets him halfway. H tells Show to finish the match or he's fired. Show heads back to the ring where Daniel Bryan is back to his feet and grabs a chair. Bryan swings the chair at Big Show trying to knock the Giant off his feet. Triple H, Batista, and Randy Orton surround the ring not taking their eyes off Bryan. Show battles back but with hesitation. Bryan jumps off the top rope and hits a Dropkick sending Big Show to the mat. Bryan hits him with a chair and runs and hits a Suicide Dive on Triple H! Bryan is all over the C.O.O with rights and lefts as Randy and Batista come over and attack Bryan. Bryan swinging back as Orton hits the RKO dropping Bryan hard to the mat. Batista picks up the motionless Champion and slides him into the ring where Big Show is back to his feet. Triple H slides in and picks up the motionless Bryan and holds him up yelling for Triple H to knock him out! Show holds his fist up ready for the blow but hesitates, Triple H orders him again and says he's fired if he doesn't. Show does what he's told and knocks out Bryan. Hunter orders him to pin the Champion.

Winner: Big Show

Afterwards, Orton and Batista stomp away at the fallen Champion, Big Show watches as Triple H orders him to head to the back and mind his own business. Show does as he's told as he heads to the back leaving his friend Daniel Bryan to get a beatdown as Smackdown closes..

AEW was great when it first started the first couple years. To be honest, I haven't really watched much of it over the past year or so, it really fell off. Just my opinion.
