Sabbe great signing! I played with him a couple of individual games and tried to sign him in the Ajax Career, but he fell outside my transfer/salary limits, so I couldn't get him.

I sometimes do that: I notice a player and try him out in single match (is it more a positional passer, is it more an agile speedfreak) to see if such a player would fit, then I scout and shortlist him and if interested and need on that given position I hope I can sign him. But with him, he quickly became too expensive.

Yeah, I thought about signing him in that first season in the Premier League but for what Brugge wanted, Fernandes was the better option. He hasn't really progressed well, though, so we'll need to see some growth out of him this season or we may have to go back into the market next season to upgrade there and make him the backup.
