Indeed, jumping in LIVE wasn't a good idea: sacked even after a string of five unbeaten games...

So, instead of quitting immediately, I did a re-sim and a re-write of previous posts - changes are minor

The biggest change is an unexpected loss against NEC. And even though NEC is doing not as well as in real life, the defeat does open up an exciting battle for 2nd and 3rd.

In the Dutch Eredivisie there are 34 games (so 10 to go from here) - the top 5 teams are guaranteed a shot in the European UEFA-tournaments in the season after:

• The champion and runner-up play in the group stage of UEFA Champions League
• The team finishing 3rd in Eredivisie plays qualifying for UEFA Champions League
• The cup-winner plays group stage of UEFA Europa League
• The highest ranked team in Eredivisie, outside the top 3 that isn't the cup winner, playes qualifying for UEFA Europa League
• The highest ranked team in Eredivisie after that goes into group stage of UEFA European Conference League

Avoiding a big slip, you have the champions league next season under control. It is now down to what stage do you enter.

You are still in the domestic cup to I see. That is exciting, an actual trophy to contend for this season. Winning a trophy and securing CL can be considered a good year.

Yes, one of the more positive consequences of the re-sim + re-write. But Champions League is way more important than winning the Cup
