Deuce - are you still playing this on your old XBOX One? Do you have a capture card? Getting some gameplay pics would be awesome.

It was a battle and a great game.. They did their best to battle back after going down 11-0 early. I am hoping they do well now cause it would help my RPI. They are tied with Clemson as the #3 rated team in the ACC behind Duke and UNC but BC, Maryland and Georgia Tech are also in the 80's so it will be interesting to see how things play out come conference play.

I am playing this on my 360. I don't currently have a capture card but they are pretty cheap, so I will try and grab one. I have always liked the presentation with the State Farm drive/play of the games and love the March Madness Selection Sunday..

The Owls are led by All-Sunbelt All-American Bernie Callahan.. The 6'8 SR PF led FAU last year with 17.7 PPG and 9.5 RPG and so far this season scored 25 points in FAU's opening season loss to #21 Kentucky (85-70).

Ronny Garza added 10 points and Joe Thomas had 9 points off the bench.

FAU's Bernie Callahan was held scoreless with SO SG Tank Carney leading the way with 10 points off the bench.

The 12 point 1st half lead quickly built to 20 points as UNF continued to dominate both sides of the ball. Root and Thomas couldn't be stopped as the duo continues to light up the scoreboard as FAU failed to rotate to the open shooter in time. UNF would build their lead to 30 with under 2 minutes to play but even in the final minutes the Osprey kept firing as North Florida sets a new school record under Coach Ryan Dezaron as they score 117 points.

NORTH FLORIDA STAYS PERFECT WITH A PAIR OF HOME WINS

WEEK RECAP

Bethune-Cookman (Won 67-51)
The B.C. actually led at the half 37-33 but manage just 14 points in the 2nd half, struggling from both 3PT (3/12) and the FT line (10/21) UNF coming off a 18/22 3PT performance against FAU and coming off back to back 100 point efforts had one their worst night of shooting on the season going just 4/22 from 3PT but did manage to connect on 11/15 FT something they have struggled in the past.

Freshman Christano Ngounou had his first double double of his career finishing with 11 points and 11 rebounds, well fellow Freshman Manny Dupree continued to showcase his skills on both sides of the ball with a team high 14 points and 3 block shots. SO Zam Graves led the bench with 12 pts on 5/8 FG 2/2 FT.

FIU (Won 82-80 in OT)
This was the first Overtime affair for Coach Dezaron. .Up 34-32 at the half UNF was unable to hold onto that lead s FIU gets off a buzzer beater to force OT (75-75). Both teams were gassed in OT but UNF managed to secure the win and move to 4-0 on the season behind a pair of FT's by Torris Dye to close out the game.

It was another weird night as FIU does a pretty solid job contesting the 3PT shot as UNF goes 9/21 from 3PT and struggles yet again from the FT line hitting just 15/38.

Ronny Garza led the way with 14 pts hitting 2/5 from 3PT.. He was the only starter in double digits as UNF gets 39 points off the bench.

C. Thiero-13 pts 2/6 3PT
J Thomas-10 pts 3 asst 1/1 3PT
D. Carter-9 pts 9 reb
Z. Graves-7 pts 5 reb

Dominic Root coming off a 5 point 1/6 3PT performance against Bethune Cookman did manage to score 9 pts and hit 3/5 from 3PT but it's a far cry from his 20+ performances in the Osprey's first 2 games.

UP NEXT

UNF will put it's 4 game win streak on the line vs (4-3) Florida State.

Florida State, even though they look like a bust, is a tall task to beat. Good luck.
