The NBA has finalized deals with the local governments of Seattle, Washington, and Buffalo, New York to bring NBA basketball to two sports-crazed fanbases. Fans of the Seattle Supersonics will be ecstatic to see that their favorite team is back, with a more modernized look, while Buffalo basketball fans will be excited to watch their Royals' rise to the top.
The Buffalo Royals will be the focus of this story. I plan on playing 1/4 of the regular season games in this chise, while playing every post-season game. I'm... not great at 2k, or basketball video games in general, so the difficulty might be shifting every so often in this chise as I get more comfortable/better.
I'm using a "realistic" MyNBA slider set from Popboy on YouTube, and I'll link the Google Doc right below.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QmY ... it?tab=t.0
The next update will be the Expansion Draft, where we will meet our first 14 Royals.

The over-arching goal of this expansion draft is to bring in the most valuable trade assets we could. We're not going to be building a contender from the 13th, 14th, and 15th least valued players of the 30 existing NBA organizations. So, we have to think towards the future. There won't be incredible young players to pick up, so players we can trade for picks or young guys throughout year 1 will be the focus. That being said, here is the recap of the 14-round Expansion Draft.

After the Expansion Draft, I brought one free agent in. That player is Detroit Pistons Legend and Cult Hero (not) Killian Hayes.

Good lord that is a tough roster haha. If you aren’t good at 2k right now, this team will not help lol.
I just saw Popboy’s video Friday and will be implementing his sliders in my Mavs franchise for Season 2. What I like most is that his sliders should allow for tough shot making even with defenders nearby…much like the real NBA.
I’ll be interested to see how these play for you as well.

Yikes, that's a tough inaugural roster right there. I can certainly see you selling off some pieces at the trade deadline
