Because of your history with USC last year I feel like you could lean toward a different school. I would love to see you at Colorado.. They are use to big personalities with Coach Prime.. However because your thread title is dedicated to Coastal it makes me wonder if you start a new thread or what.

you can change the name of the thread, so updating it for a new school with Vaughn would not be an issue if that's the route we take :curtain:

Atlanta, GA. - The Miami Hurricanes arrived in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl hoping the third time would finally be the charm. Instead, the result felt all too familiar. While the 49–17 final was a slight improvement over their drubbing in the ACC Championship Game three weeks earlier, the Chanticleers once again left no doubt who the better team was.

Fredrick Meredith’s redemption arc kept rolling, as the veteran quarterback threw four touchdown passes to carry the Coastal offense in the absence of a healthy Cornell Jennings. The reigning Heisman winner struggled through just 48 rushing yards and spent most of the second half limping between spot carries.

“You hate to see a season end like this for a player like him,” said Kirk Herbstreit on the ESPN broadcast. “The explosiveness he had early in the year just isn’t there anymore.”

Still, Meredith made sure the offense didn’t miss a beat. The senior was sharp and decisive, carving through Miami’s secondary with rhythm throws and back-shoulder lasers that kept the Chanticleers humming.

For Miami, tight end Quincy Butt was once again the lone bright spot. He accounted for both of the Hurricanes’ biggest plays; a 44-yard reception to set up their first field goal and a touchdown down the seam on busted coverage. Outside of Butt’s efforts, Miami’s offense sputtered and stalled as its season came to a disappointing end.

Unlike last year’s bad-blooded postgame chaos, this meeting ended quietly. After three matchups in the 2033 season, head coaches Kade Vaughn and Mario Cristobal exchanged only a brief, firm handshake before turning to their respective players.

Coastal’s record books also saw some rewriting in the win. Senior wideout Tavares Tinker’s 217 receiving yards pushed him past 3,497 for his career, making him the new all-time leader in Chanticleer history. Defensive end Alfonso Smith added another sack, inching within one of tying former Louisiana Tech standout Jaylon Ferguson for the NCAA career record.

Now, the Chanticleers move one step closer to defending their national title. They’ll await the winner of the Fiesta Bowl showdown between Notre Dame and Alabama — and with Meredith back in rhythm and the defense surging, Coastal looks every bit the part of a team ready to repeat.

Tavares Tinker toasted the coverage on more than one occasion on his way to 217 receiving yards and the #1 spot in the Coastal record books.

Meredith continued his sterling post-season play with four more passing touchdowns and a pair of rushing TDs to boot.
