Bro is the truth! I'm really hoping he balls out like this in real life. Two solid wins over former PAC-12 teams, making our case that we belong in the newly formed PAC-12. Thanks for checking in guys!

Colandrea Lights Up Vegas: Backup QB Steals Show as UNLV Stuns UCLA
LAS VEGAS, NV — The bright lights of Allegiant Stadium were supposed to shine on UCLA. Instead, they illuminated the emergence of UNLV’s newest star.
When starting quarterback Alex Orji went down early in the first quarter, the air in Allegiant Stadium briefly turned tense. But former Virginia transfer and backup quarterback Anthony Colandrea wasted no time easing concerns—and rewriting the script.
Thrust into action without warning, the sophomore signal-caller didn’t just manage the game. He owned it, leading the Rebels to a commanding 42–28 upset win over UCLA in front of a roaring home crowd.
“We didn’t flinch,” head coach Dan Mullen said postgame. “Anthony’s been preparing like a starter every week, and tonight he showed why.”
Colandrea’s poise was evident from his first series. On his first play, a crucial third-and-nine, he zipped a pass in stride to wideout Troy Omeire who rumbled for a 36-yard gain. Orji came back in momentarily, finishing the drive with a 2-yard touchdown pass to tight end Var'keyes Gumms, but he would exit once again and remain on the sideline for the remainder of the contest.
Throughout the night, Colandrea displayed a mature pocket presence, extending plays with his feet and delivering precision throws under pressure. His stat line—343 total yds and two passing touchdowns—only tells part of the story.
The play of the night came in the second quarter when Colandrea broke outside the pocket and fired a pass to a wide open Gumms, who would turn around and hurdle over the would-be tackler, falling into the end zone for a 43-yard touchdown.
Even as UCLA rallied behind their own playmakers in the second half, Colandrea remained unfazed. With the Bruins closing the gap to 28–20 in the fourth quarter, the young quarterback orchestrated two time-chewing drives both being capped off by bulldozing goal-line run's by Jai'Den Thomas.
Colandrea’s unexpected breakout came on a night when UNLV’s offense was firing on all cylinders. The Rebels racked up points with a balanced attack, mixing explosive passing plays with hard-nosed running in the trenches. The offensive line kept Colandrea clean, and the receivers made plays after the catch all game long.
“I’ve dreamed of moments like this,” he said after the game, grinning under the stadium lights. “When my number was called, I was ready.”
In a city built on high-stakes gambles, UNLV rolled the dice on their backup quarterback—and hit the jackpot.

Glad to see he's doing work for you in Orji's absense

That’s some proper “3 yards and a cloud of dust” football there for you it seems, love riding that to an upset!
Colandrea bailed you guys out after Orji’s injury.
